Great advice, I use the same technique for super deep ledges with a slow jig. If it’s dead water I’ll even change directions and jig it upstream - can be deadly
I use many rods, but I always seem to grab my 10'9" 2 Weight Contact II T and T with my Sage ESN Reel. In regards to lines, I'm running the RIO Mono Technical Euro but may go back to a traditional line like the SA Mastery Double Taper Euro Line. The mono is great for "point blank" fishing, but doesn't shoot and cast very well.
Hi You Can Do your tippet for this proposition 50cm fluo a knot 50cm fluo 1 meter fluorocarbon potence and final 70cm And you Can fishing enter 1.7 m et 2.7 méter with the meter of fluo sinking

Thanks Rusty, appreciate the watching and the contribution. Good luck out there.
Great tips.
Thanks!
This is so key now that high runoff flows are starting to happen. Can you give us an idea about the approximate weight of that heavy point fly?
Since I started euro nymphing I’ve caught way more fish.
What is your preferred weight for euro nymph fishing Joe?
Just curious.
fantastic video👍
Appreciate the props, thanks!
Hey Joe, love your videos. What does your euro set up look like?

There’s a piece of rusted rebar sticking out behind you, Joe. Hope you saw it and didn’t get grazed by it…
Oh yes. The beauty of the rip-rap-runs. I'm so used to it at this point I hardly notice.
