  • It's almost cover crop time so that means our vaderstad drill needs to be in top condition. Luckily we found part of it that needed fixing BEFORE we got it out into the field, otherwise that may have been a disaster!

      @@danielsizer41 yeah that would fantastic thing to have on a scorthing hot day like atleast you did have a bit of shade when you had that loader bucket up in the air above the drill to block abit of the sun

      @@thomassteadman6781 yeah was good idea put that bucket up for shade was 10/15°C cooler under that sometimes I’m a genius 😂

    Another great video and a bloody good job you did repairing the drill,I only have one complaint and that is I'm suffering from a bit of arc eye from all that welding 😆 🤣

      Oh well health and safety has gone a bit mad over the years m8,just some pen pusher in an office with no clue of how the industry works and the troubles farmers face on a day to day basis.

      It’s good for us to show a more relaxed approach but showing we are still mega safe at all times 😉

      Got a few bud wish I had a few more 😆 can’t afford the prices at the moment I’d love a 7250r for tillage work only about only thing on my list at the moment can’t even afford a second hand one yet 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

    Cracking drills.. no pun intended 😆. I used to demo them 20 plus years ago and they were dam good back then. Probably could just afford a 20 year old one now 🤣. Great vid. Stay safe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      @@danielsizer41 Carlisle? OK that's just in Scotland 🤣 it wasn't one from Aberdeenshire 😉 so can't help on any history probably got all my note books somewhere from the ones that Farm Services at the time sold maby the Carlisle Lioyds branch might have some info for you though .

      Yeah mate was brought well cheap on a whim and it worked out ok 😂 just wish it wasn’t 37°C when it broke 😂😂

    Will tractor lift all that extra steel used on repair lol Never ceases to amaze me how farmers have the ability to repair kit. Crack on

      @@fenlandfarmingadventures4241 yes agree there mate the hourly rate for engineers these days besides if you can fix it yourself makes you feel a lot better inside. Did you paint the new welding up ?? Lol. No I never do
