May be big, but is very realistic to many places in North America. Nothing beats the sense of realism of being able to drive for a long time or see a hill in the distance knowing its actually apart of the map. The vast views are the best part. I don't really know why people knock on huge maps, since you really don't have to farm/own every field on the map because in reality that would be quite unrealistic. Its more for the environment. I am very glad someone made a large map that isn't 100% flat 😄
I don't know where you've seen people knocking big maps. The only reason i can think of are performance reasons, and Europeans not playing them basically because they are unrealistic to them (eg Germany, the game's progeny market and the devs location, is densely populated, and such huge fields are a rarity, even in rural areas like Bavaria). People actively knocking or hating big maps i've never really seen to be honest.
@@ZenzDeluxe I've seen it on Facebook many times every time I make a comment on how I wish there was a larger emphasis on larger maps and a larger emphasis by Giants on the performance of larger maps.
@@ZenzDeluxe not hating exactly but they dont get main stream love. mostly because the average computer is a potato and alot if not most of people cant manage the time and money to run the big show effectively
I've spent an hour or so driving around this map scouting farm locations...and wow, this is easily the most detailed and natural-feeling of the "mega maps" that have been released for FS22. Extremely impressive.
For an incomplete map, it's pretty damn good! Plenty of detail until you get past the town and the neighbor's farms, and feels like a map should. Txzar is back!
Just downloaded several of these larger maps and a bunch of new mods to get me through the initial release of fs25 while waiting for my favorite mods before I buy it and start playing it. Thank you modders!
So this is pretty wild. I grew up in Hubbard. At minute 16, you are feeding cows in the pen at our family farm. Have to say this is very realistic and also surreal at the same time.
Well done map creator again a lot of attention to detail you can really believe that a dealership in America in a small town would have old machines rusting away in the yard. Fsg imagine doing potatoes in one of the biggest fields how long it would take 😮
Great map tour FSG and looks pretty good i might try it on my laptop for a laugh my old one just about ran a 16x and hopefully this one might run it a bit better 🤦♂️🤣👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It is a Beautiful map. Some of the Back Roads Are so narrow They remind me of the UK maps. I have also found a Few field that don't play well with Course Play, but a little painting of a Verge between them solves the problem, and a few fields have no Verge next to roads so it is going to be interesting when they need to be plowed.
I switch from small maps (Osada as an example) to large maps (Gnadenthal as an example). My problem with really large maps is that most of them are pretty bland. This maps seems unfinished as far as sell points and production is concerned. And that is a GOOD thing to me. I like adding my own sell points, and town building. Playing on big maps makes me have to plan on pretty self sufficient operations so I am not stuck driving to town all the time.
Love the map. Great detail! Only thing is all fields loamy sand, 80% yield for me. Not a mod conflict since I loaded with only PF. Code in map.i3d for soilmap looks good. Can't figure it out. Any idea how to fix? Edit: Found it. Line 42 in map.xml need to remove maps/mapUS part from filename so it's just data/soilMap.grle.
I love 16x big maps, but they all don't bother, it seems simple. Okay, isn't it 4x bigger than a normal map, but even a map developer says I'm going to make a very detailed 16x map? Like Hof Bergman.
Nebraska is one of those US states I'd love to own land in, along with Wyoming and Montana, and maybe South Dakota. This looks a great map for a series, but might be a bit too big. Is there only the one farm you can own? I'd be looking to set up as a hay/straw to start, on the smaller fields and build out from there, with some livestock and additional fields.
after playing it the map isnt courseplay friendly with trees around the edges of fields, it also crashed with numerous faults listed in the console hub
Dont download the 1.0.1 version, it does not show up in game whatsoever. I have to have a friend send me the file he has which is the original 1.0 in order for us to play together lol. And no before you ask, its not extracted. Just straight wont show up in my list but a mod i've been working on loads just fine
What exciting is there about this ?? this is just another US ! map ??? one out of incredible many ??? MY oppinion says that, have you seen one of all the US maps they laying out, you have seen them all ??? It would have been more interesting seeing some more Scandinavian Maps instead :/ overall we only see US, German, polish or french maps ??? on the mod sites and, thats not interesting anymore ! :/ If I could make maps I would have focused more on Scandinavian themes.... but okay okay yeahhh yeahhh its fine its fine

Hoping he's going to build on it in 25, could be a classic
@@TheFarmSimGuy and consoles could potentially see it, if the rumor mill is correct!
@@Tired_Geek 4x in consoles will already be a challenge for fs25. I think you can forget about 16x.
@@dakluitgamingI play on PC. I'm just hoping for the console folks to be able to experience what a more realistic map feels like.

As a large map enjoyer, I love this. As an autodrive user I dread this…
I was just wondering if I would AD it 😢😂😂

No way, that’s amazing, great to hear it’s so realistic too
Looks fantastic - like you - big fan of large maps. Hope to get a look in the coming days. These modders deserve all the best recognition!!
I'm loving this map, I will be playing this one for a long time. It runs surprisingly well for a 16x map with this level of detail. 👍👍👍👍👍
... and you may only use a NH TX 32... 🤣
Thanks a lot for showing!

I noticed that large maps always have tiny narrow roads for some reason. Come on guys, you can spare the map space, widen that main road.

Back to back map tours? Unprecedented!
Haha!
So far loving the map, this is another map like Loma that can keep me occupied until FS 25 is released
Ive been really wanting a large hilly American map. This seem perfect.
Too many good maps coming out lately!

well time for a dairy farm challenge.
Ok die map ist ganz ok, aber ne Update wäre schon ganz hilfreich
Can't use Courseplay because the fields aren't properly separated.
Well make your own outline

Depends what you are selling
i tested this map and its amazing. i do have decent pc but lil stutters when loading the terrain but other than that its Amazing
