Congrats on becoming a specialist, your consistency really is commendable!
Try to upsolve D it was good question
Editorial mentioned using dijkstra but i solved it using dp+segment tree (range min with update)
Oh my gosh moment !
I know basic C & C++,solved a total of 85 prblms on CF which are from beginner sheet(very basic easy prblms) and 13 prblms are frm 800 rated . I can solve div4A mostly ,div3A sometimes but not div2A during my practice .how do u select prblms for practice? sorting rating wise 800-800 then 900-900 or sorting div wise,div4A,div4B,div3A,dib3B,div2A?
should I try in any other online judge like atcoder? also can u share ur journey+specific resources? how to main learning new things with practicing. do u know DSA? which resources did u follow to learn DSA?
I learned DSA from a vietnamese ytb channel so I dont think it would help you but I recommend learning it from a playlist from your mother language it would be much easier to understand. And following a sheet is alright but just sort the problems by difficulty. You can also try other platforms such as atcoder, leet,... but it wont help you directly with cf right? It might support you a bit but if you want to be better at CF then do CF. I hope that helps !
@@AlgoWizard-t7i you learned dsa in one month seriously? I heard I should not learn dsa frm a playlist/book but along with prblm solving in cf when I'm stuck. is it true? currently I'm solving 800 rated cf prblm, should I start learning STL+DSA now? how u improved that much within only 8 months, are u frm math olympliad/ioi or any olympiad background? I'm weak at math, any advice how to improve math/logic building in cf?
I feel like c was easy compared to b
Haha true
Hey how did you figure out C required just sorting of sums of pairs ??
@@dakshmaru5577 Observation from the test cases and trying to run the test cases manually on paper. I wasnt really sure about it so as you can see in the vid, it took me 2 min before submitting it:)
Yes, It takes some time for newbies to think of this don't worry once you become pupil this observation will come naturally.
Can i know how long (months) have u been doing cp to get to this level 😊 (just motivation for me to start 😢) 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I've been doing this for the last 4 months continuously and I'm still a newbie (max rating 945 😞), but im enjoying my process and im learning new new things 😃
@@khanayaan8592 oh good to know Thanks
since I started doing CF:) as you see on the day count its about 200 days, I learned basic C and C++ for a month before hopping on CF so if you round that up its about 8 months
how you got intuition towards B very fats ?
Tbh I dont know how my brain works:) but after some time doing CF, the solution just pop out of my head
@@AlgoWizard-t7i how you approached it ?
@@AlgoWizard-t7i and the reason you directly went to C ? 😐
@@Rlxn5 Strategy I guess:), dealing with the bones (hard problems) first and enjoying the meat (easy ones) later
@@Rlxn5 everything is just pure adhoc, once you form a good sense of implementation the approach just pop str8 out:) Thats sounds like a non-helpful and stupid answer of me but thats really how I deal with most problems.
