This is most likely a spy from Disney trying to find out why Chosen is so popular....:-)
😂😂
Funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Good one!
😂😂😂
😅😅😅
I love how Dallas does these little mysteries. He likes to keep us in suspense and to keep our interest. Dallas is so good at this. You go, Dallas! I can’t wait to see who this is. 🎉
Watching the chosen makes me want to hug my Bible ❤makes me love the word of God🙌🤗
I would love to see a future “acts of the apostles”
Or a “apostle Paul” in the style of the chosen
Me too 😊
I have been saying the same thing. Would be so wonderful!
That would be cool
Yesssss! I would also love to see a Chosen version of acts!
Called it
I strongly believe he's the thief on the right side, that's why he asks Jesus to remember him when Jesus enter the kingdom
I think u got it Brandon! The thief on the cross makes subtle sense, it’s significant enough to give the attention that they’ve given to it, and it moves the story in the right direction
Not to change the subject, but Dallas' "Best Christmas Pageant Ever" coming out in November looks like a winner!
My wife thinks it’s dumb to make a movie from that story because there is already a movie from the 80’s. Personally I think it’s a great story, and I’m excited to see it when it comes out.
My wife thinks it’s dumb to make a movie from that story because there is already a movie from the 80’s. Personally I think it’s a great story, and I’m excited to see it when it comes out.
Yeah we’ll talk about it right we’re done with season 4 stuff!
My family and I are very familiar with this story. We watch the '80s movie (featuring Loretta Switt as the mother) EVERY Christmas. My daughter and I have seen local plays based on the book. I'm not sure how we came across it, but I bought her the book when she was very young, and she's now 35. It's a tradition. We cannot wait to see Dallas' version. I'm sure he'll do it justice!
I'm really looking forward to it too!
I get so tickled when the word "spoilers" is used with The Chosen.....it is literally over 2k years old. Love you guys and your content!!!!
And yes!!!! Joseph of Arimathea.
i remember a story where a very rich man came to jesus and told him i wanna follow you but jesus said if u wanna follow me go and give all ur money to the poor but he refused. so maybe its him?
He is wearing a ring. So he is someone of an elevated position.
He may have stolen it ;)
Noticed that myself.
@@Eganja. Wouldn't ut ve dumb to wear something you stole?
@@marylamb2130I noticed none of this! 😂
@@Eganja.WAIT UR ONTO SOMETHING
For Yussif, he also said his family owns the stone quarry in Jerusalem, which would give him access to a new, unused cave (aka tomb for Jesus) that probably came from their stone quarry work.
I am having so much trouble telling myself Yussif might NOT be Joseph of Arimathea because I want him to be so much
The mystery of it is fun. 😁
HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE THE CHOSEN ❤ 😘🥰😍
Easy: it’s full of inaccuracies, both historical and biblical
There's a lot of people who don't like the show because its based off of Dallas's mind of the events in the bible. He even said this in the 1st season and knew that's why some people wouldn't like it.
It makes me so sad and even dare I say a little bit angry when well known & respectable Christians and Christian leaders say that they won’t watch because it’s somehow not biblical 🤦🏻♀️ smh
I believe from the bottom of my heart that God has His Hand over the success of The Chosen series and that as long as Dallas & the others in charge of this project continue to seek God’s blessing and guidance, this series will prosper and many will come to the cross because of it 💖🙏 Praise, honor and thanks be to God and to Him belongs all the glory and praise for the success of the Chosen and all who are blessed by it
@@OneTrueVikingbardomg its fun they don’t claim to be Bible based correct 100 percent! If people who r baby Christians it peaks their interest in gods holy word or Jesus then it’s served its purpose. What events that are based on history have been vetted by 3 Bible scholars and it has their approval that’s good enough 4 me! Anyone agree with me??Much love to you all💕💕🐜🐝
Thanks! I am always looking for your latest episodes!!!
Thanks so much!
Dallas is enjoying the fun of our game of guesses. I can imagine how amusing it must be to hear all the theories. 😂
Pay attention to the conversation between King Herod and Pilate in episode 8. King Herod mentions the high Priest (Caiaphas) received confirmation of the death and resurrection.
@@meghanhill7152 Herod said Caiaphas was investigating whether it was true
Sounds plausible as Dallas would say
The rings on his hand, along with his youth, make him look like the rich young man. We need a reason why he kneels to Jesus.
Good thought
That would be awesome if the story of the rich man who asks Jesus what he needs to do that he hasn't already.
Humm...that also seems "plausible"
How about John Mark (Writer of the Gospel of Mark)?
“One young man following behind was clothed only in a long linen shirt. When the mob tried to grab him, he slipped out of his shirt and ran away naked.”
Mark 14:51-52 NLT
A decent guess. John Mark was quite wealthy, so the ring would fit, but I don't know if the clothes reflect that much wealth. JM had a habit of running when things got too hot, so his leaving at the end of the scene would fit.
If it is JM, then his clothing in this scene would make sense since it is a disguise. The ring is probably an intentional easter egg for us.
Have a good look at his clothing, it's made of fine cloth, but the head covering looks scruffy (borrowed for disguise)
I don't thing John Mark as he was supposed to be much younger.
@@ruthholbrook Good point about the age
I also thought it may be John Mark… we’ll see if he shows up in the garden at the end..
It’s awesome that you have such a network with Dallas!
I'm sticking with Barrabas. I'm still hoping that we'll see Quintus one more time since he's been busted down to low rank and will probably have to go to Jerusalem during Passover (perish the thought!) It's always been my thinking perhaps Quintus will be the Roman Barabbas murders. Just my own wild and wacky little theory. I love the character of Quintus, and Brandon Potter brought his character to life perfectly. So I'd really like to get one more look at that obnoxious Roman! 😂 Nuthin' but love for ya Quintus... nuthin' but love for ya.
@thechosensleuth
@thechosen
#pompousromans
I don’t think it is Barajas or either of the thieves…. I think they would have already been imprisoned at this time.
I think it might be Luke because in Luke 1 Luke says. He has carefully investigated everything from the beginning. It might be him checking everything out
I think Dallas loves to tease us by showing “mysterious” characters that we will see next season. I love the guessing games. (I’ve never guessed correctly, by the way).
Ramah's brother ! The Watcher!
That's what I thought too
Thanks for the update!
For one sec I thought it was Obi-Wan.
Lmao 🤣
😂
Obi wan trying to ruin another chosen one
Thank you so much! I enjoy your show greatly!
My guess, either (Deacon) Stephen - (first martyr, died before "Big James" from stoning) or Saul/Paul
Thanks for keeping away from the spoilers!
The book gave them away
Jordan is the best! Can’t wait to see this interview!
Really enjoyed your content throughout this season. I liked being able to watch the episodes and know that in the next day or two i can watch one of your videos to smooth out certain scenes in my head. Really cant wait for the next season!
Guys if you say mark or luke... Please read your bibles 😅
LOL, I keep trying to share why it can't be them, but too many people saying it lol.
I'm thinking John Mark, as others have suggested. I've been wondering when he would show up.
Did you fix the shade while you were there? Guess not, because it still showed the seam on Sunday night's livestream. :)
Well, I was the only one who posted about the Rich Young Ruler in detail in your last video about the stranger. This would be the right time for his entrance in Jesus' ministry as John Mark, so I'm thinking Dallas was talking about my last post being the correct one.
@@prodigal1970 There is a good possibility that this is the Rich Young Ruler. He is curious enough to follow Jesus and His teachings.
Good afternoon watching from Savannah Georgia ! Always sharing your videos!
I’m going back with my original guess from back in February and going with its Malchus 🤔🤷🏼♀️
Spy. That was my first thought. And somebody pointed out his jewelry. He might be a higher up.....😊
It could be Paul. He’s pretty young looking with a Roman ring since Paul was a Roman citizen and Paul even in his letters told churches to be aware of the circumcision coming in disguised to be believers to confuse the church. So I think it may be Paul
I tend to agree. But I would also add that he could be spying for someone too! 😏
That's my guess too.
Paul himself writes in one of his letters that he didn't see Jesus before that time on the road to Damascus (appearing to him "as one untimely born")
Spy for Atticus seeing Atticus is always around for big Jesus events
I think Atticus does his own spying. Wouldn't give the power of his position to someone else, or he would he?
Hi Brandon!! I’m thinking that this character could be the rich young man who asked Jesus what must he do to be saved, or a spy- initially thought for Kafni!! It’s fun to guess, but we’ll see!! I’m now hyped u for season five!! Wonderful job as always!! Love to you and Vanessa!!🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍
Slightly unrelated, what about the guy on horseback who delivered the chest from Johanna? John Mark maybe? He says something like, "Until we meet again" when he is leaving after delivering the chest. 🤔 Sorry if this has already been brought up.
Its Ruslan!!! I have noticed how you and he have shared strategies on RUclips...Also the watcher is Ruslan
I wish folks would realize that death is when you're separated from God, not when your body no longer functions. Christians do not die. Jesus defeated death by undoing what Adam did and we will no longer be separated from God because of the Laws/Sin. Jesus came to earth to be the 2nd Adam- that was his whole goal. When Jesus walked up to John the Baptist (who not only knew Who He was, but knew why He was here) to be baptized, said Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away THE SIN (singular) of the world. The ultimate sacrifice was what it took to accomplish that.
Eve was the first to eat the fruit
@@Eganja. Irrelevant. Sin came into the world by one man, and death by sin.
Also, the woman was deceived, not the man.
@@jackadams3878 you could argue he was deceived by Eve into disobeying God
@@Eganja. No. He knew the rules. And besides, that theory isn't biblical.
Thanks for the update, hope to see this unfold soon, gotta be something beautiful, I always love to see changes of hearts and repentance, hope this will lead to as such😊
It’s: Mitch Hudson, Co-Director (and director of „The Promised Land“ it’s so funny I almost collapsed 😂). As who he plays here: maybe Luke or Saul/Future Paul? Or the ritch young Man? Someone from/for Rome for example someone watching for Claudia? (In The Promised Land Pilot Episode he snuck in an Egyptian who slipped through the red sea and now has to „play“ a Jew. Maybe it’s the same here but in reverse = some Roman? 😉)
I dreamed it was Stephen! 😂
I don't think so. Stephen should be younger at that point.
@@P.WhitestrakeI mean technically all the apostles are supposed to be much younger than portrayed, most were teens when following Jesus
@@jandm4ever716why do you say that?
This character was also at the preaching when Ramah was murdered. Because of this heavy interest in Jesus’ teachings my guess is that it is someone who is spying for the Pharisees… Saul of Tarsus who becomes the Apostle Paul. I wouldn’t choose Barrabas because he should/would be in prison (Jerusalem) at this time and if not in prison, why would he be at BOTH teachings. Stephen could/would have been at both teachings but has no reason to hide himself. I also have doubts about the James theory. Thanks to all for making this so fun!
Yes! Saul spying for the Pharisees is absolutely a plausible theory!! 😊
I agree. He looks like the man who went and got his family from the camp and he was man who alerted Yusuf that Veronica was present in the crowd.
@@catherineswicegood4251 Don't think so, he looks (slightly) different. And didn't wear any jewelry
Interesting that Dallas put Mary M in a cave as there is a long Catholic tradition that Mary M went to southern France and lived in a cave. There is a cathedral there. cathedral at Sainte Baume near Aix-en-Provence
Oh very neat observation!
My guess is, the character is Saul. He looks to be the right age (younger than Jesus at the time of the crucifixion). The Damascus Road experience is figured to be 3-4 years after Jesus is crucified.
It Saul, his ring is the clue
I agree. The rings are important. Earlier in the season they made a point to show Yusif’s ring when he was getting dressed.
Dallas Jenkins give us ONE GOOD hint. Just one good one, please! We already have to wait 9 months before season five is born. I still guess Mark!
It's Matthias. He's been stalking Jesus and crew from the beginning.
That was my guess Matthias.
I’m betting that the watcher works with Atticus.
That was my thought as well. Atticus seemed to talk like he was there or knew more about it than someone who wasn’t there.
@@divebombexpert2619 yes. That’s what I thought.
Dallas always likes to keep us in suspense. I think it is Jesus’ brother James
Where are Jesus's brothers and sisters ?
If he’s James, why wouldn’t he greet his own Mother?
Jesus had no siblings as His mother, the Blessed Mother Mary, was a virgin both before, during and after the birth of Jesus. The James you are referring to was the son of Cleophas and Mary (not Our Lady) and was a cousin of Jesus.
@@mikecastelluccio7072 Isn't that the apostle James the Lesser?
@ mikecastelluccio7072 you know whenever you mention this theory (it’s historically and biblically possible, yes, but we don’t know for sure), it’s still worth that Jesus may not have had BIOLOGICAL siblings but that He still had people that would have been recognised as siblings for the time.
So it might still be worth discussing why a biological cousin would be known as someone’s brother. Just my thoughts as someone open to both sides of the argument, people will be more open to this theory if you are able to answer that potential objection.
Thanks for the info, Brandon!
Hello Brandon watching again because it showed up in my notifications
Will you be at the Chosen Con in Sept? Cuz I’d love to meet you!
Dallas keeps us on our toes for sure. Hello Brandon. Della Warren here
It looks like the guy driving the wagon in The Messenger, who brought Mary Mag to Mother Mary at Laz's, he's one of Simon Zs peeps.
Dallas said he wasn’t someone we’ve seen before. And tychicus (the guy from the messengers) would be like 10 years old at this point in history.
Yes that Man is standing out😅 I was wondering about him ,and then, when I watching it with my grand kids thy ask, hu is that man? only answer I could say, I don't know 🤔
This character is Matthias.
Love how you help carry the excitement and suspense from season to season, Brandon. It helps the time lapse to go quicker in my head. Lol Great insights! We gotta no for Satan as the watcher. Haha
Grazie grazie siete meravigliosi come tt il resto grazie vi voglio bene ❤❤❤❤❤
I believe its Saul/Paul. I also think Atticus will be the soldier that pierces Jesus.
Hey Brandon! Just want to say, l like the way your hair is now. You look much younger with this cut. ...and l usually like longer hair, ... but anyway ..Good video, and good guesses. :)
It's Ralph, who sells stones for stoning. You can read about him in Hezekiah 4:13-36.
🤣
It's a modern day Christian "Watcher" from 2024, that found the port hole back in time to Lazarus' Tomb😁Seriously, how cool would that be to find a port hole back to the time of Jesus on earth.💕
“Dallas will not put Satan in the show.”
…explains why he skipped over Jesus in the wilderness being tempted by Satan.
I had high hopes they might show it in the form of a flashback, but I guess that’s not going to happen. 😖
Also, he skipped the Transfiguration on Mt. Hermon while talking to Moses and Elijah.
Who else was introduced as a "watcher" in the New Testament?
Not saying he could be Saul, but the name this dude was given is very interesting.
Maybe just to throw us off.
But Judas was known as the "apprentice" in the script before he was revealed!
He's Atticus' watcher.
I think it’s an informant or a friend of Nicodemus.Maybe the mysterious stranger is gonna tell Nico what’s going on I 🤷♀️ we will see.
Wondering now if he will be Mark!
What if it is Simon the man who carries Jesus’ cross?
Simon that carries Jesus' cross is dark skin.
No he is african
Love your content
Yes Jesus’ brother James or Luke.
I think it zacchaeus. The short guy that climbs the tree to see Jesus.
The man carrying the cross for Jesus
Was a black man, Simon of Cyrene.
@@tbastrikes7847 .. really
So my guess then it’s Barabus. Dallas I think likes to show possible reasons why people in the Bible’s responded as they did. So maybe Barabus see. When Lazarus was raised from the grave. Building him a story would be fun.
The watcher is wearing a ring on his left hand ring finger. 😊
I really want the chosen to have a Jesus/ Barrabas moment, as in to have a conversation, like the movie Jesus of Nazerath
So, does this mean we won't be seeing Christ tempted in the dessert? If Dallas isn't "showing" satan, does that mean we miss out on that? It's pretty important, I hope Dallas touched on it
Cool, such a mystery!! It is as you said, the “good” thief.
I was thinking about Mystery man and Steven came to mind.
I am almost certain it is someone significant because he is prominent in the framing.
I think this guy was on the Christmas Chosen.delivering something.
Yusuf's dad - Yusuf even referenced his dad seeing the miracle done in Episode 8
I am wrong several times a day but, this could be the young man who runs from the garden and loose his garment🦁🐂👦🦅aka the Prophet
I think it's a zealot from season 2 where Simon the zealot came from before he joined Jesus
I said Jesus brother and I'm sticking with James Jesus brother ❤
Do we get a free T Shirt 👕
Please Dallas 👏 ❤
Simon Magus the gnostic?
I thought the lack of tsit tsit was a big clue so it could be a Greek or a Roman. At first I thought of the Greeks who told Philip they wanted to see Jesus but I don't think that was mentioned on this site although Luke was. He definitely looked like a spy. So most likely for Atticus. That scene with Pontius where he looked seriously spooked. Has to be for more than walking on water. He has to have an eyewitness testimony to seriously consider it. Yes, I think it's part of Atticus' story, whatever that will be.
Love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤
I think this guy is Malchus, the servant of the high priest, whose ear Simon Peter will cut off. This would explain the ring and the clothes. He may have been told to remove his tzittzit for spy purposes.
I thought there was a reveal on one of the previews of season 5. Maybe not.
Look at you! Getting all of the access! I'm not even the least bit jealous... we'll, maybe just a Itty bitty tiny bit!😉 Shame on Dallas for keeping us in suspense! He's so cruel!😅 Just kidding...kinda.😢
7:18 is that picture inside a chipotle? 🌯 😋
My daughter and I were thinking he was a zealot
How about the servant of the High Priest? Did you asked him that?
I like the fun of guessing
I think the watcher is the streaker from the second Gospel.
