- RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 is finally wrapping up and we've got our final four for this season: Gottmik, Kandy Muse, Rose, and Symone. In today's video, I'm recapping episode 13 of season 13 of drag race, discussing what is going to happen in the finale and who is going to win season 13.
We will be reviewing the episode and analyzing who has the best chance of winning Season 13 of Rupaul's Drag Race in the finale. Will it be Rose, Symone, Kandy Muse, or Gottmik?

@zararae rodtor I don’t think Sasha velour would have done good if they had that same twist in season 9, imo they’re 2 completely different types of lipsyncs, Sasha’s work is beautiful because she carefully thinks about the concepts and ruveals a lot before the actual performance
@@toukisacecard6532 gottmik was definitely favored but so was kandy (although not as much), she literally lost a lipsync and was told she could stay just because they know she is good television and were probably hoping they would both turn it on the lipsync.
Imo Symone is winning 100% but I'm wishing for a Rosé win so hard!

I love rosé so much and I really hope she wins but from the beginning my gut has said they're gonna crown symone and and everything else about this season has been a tad predicable so....
Rose has a similar storyline to the one Bimini had, but like not as contrasting, she lost her first lipsync but then she was always safe or on top, and started to win a lot as they reached the finale. In this case she doesn’t have the most wins like Bimini had but I think she’s probably still the best performing queen of the top 4 because she was never low (without being favored)
I think the problem with rose is that both symone and gottmik seem like they could represent a lot more then her by winning the crown, with they’re styles of drag, symone bringing a lot of cool concepts from black culture and gottmik with her overall amazing looks and makeup skills and original style of makeup/ being a trans guy
@@shanieboal3524 isn't that a little problematic though. Don't get me wrong I think Symone and Gottmik are more likely to win than Rosé, but a winner should not be decided by the platform they have, but the performances delivered. If those did have a stake in the crowning, it would undermine what they stand for because the legitimacy of their win would be called into question. I feel Rosé, Symone and Gottmik all have earned the crown and whoever wins should not have it called into question by biases.
@@shanieboal3524 And Rose also made statements with her runways and told stories. I get the love of the message both have given but I have to separate my love for that when judging. Symone has had the most wins this season and all of her looks have been nothing less than phenomenal, but her two bottom placements are a sore thumb and her comedy acting is funny but quite one note (if it ain't broke, don't fix it). Gottmik has done terrific overall but I honestly found some of her moments of success to feel a little forced with how they compared other queens such as Utica. Rosé had a very rough start arguably with being the only one left from the losing bracket and of her three lip syncs she I do not see a win from any which is interesting given she talks about it so highly. All three have proven they can wear the crown and it's not fair for the fanbase to pressure based of the statement it would make or competition element of the show is lost. That being said whoever doesn't won the other 3 will be on all stars
@@shanieboal3524 I can totally see that in everything except the Kandy statement tbh I felt Olivia should be here instead, don't get me wrong though Like Kandy she would have gotten fourth but Olivia was doing a lot better in my opinion. Also I have enjoyed maybe two or three looks from compared to other finalists who always made me feel it was attempting to contend with the best. I definitely think Rosé will do better in an all stars season, but I would say Kandi may understand herself more conceptually, but she is lacking heavily in execution.
@@shanieboal3524 Ha I agree with you, I just think that the skill of the others has to have edged it out by this point. I think Denali and Olivia are stronger overall but I understand why she made it to the finale with her drive.
I also feel like which challenges the queens win are important. Gottmik won both the Ball AND Snatch Game. Even though both Rosé and Symone won more challenges, Mik won the more anticipated and “prestigious” challenges. That is enough, along with her compelling storyline, for the producers to justify crowning her IMO. I wouldn’t count her out just yet. But I do want Symone to win.
You make great points but...Gigi also won Snatch Game and the ball challenge...and we all know she didn't win.

if it's LSFTC, from what we've seen so far, Kandy and Symone have the best chances of making it to top 2
Gottmik would certainly not beat Kandy and from previous lipsyncs, it can be seen that Kandy can beat Rose (depends on the song), and knowing how close the BO$$ lipsync is (imo Kandy won that), she's on par with Symone or even better.
Actually if you add up all the points they would get in the season gottmik and Rosé have the strongest performance overall. Also Rosé was in the top 8 times, three times winning and high five times (there was a moment where you got it confused).
"We can see that two queens have better stats than the other 2." I dunno if we are looking at the same stats, but Symone, Rosé and Gottmik all have solid stats and positive markers.
Symone has 4 wins + won her lipsync battle at the beginning, but she is the only one out of the 3, that has bottom 2 placements.
Rosé has 3 wins and only one low, but lost her lipsync battle. On the positive side, she also has 4 high placements.
Gottmik is on part with these two. Yes, she has only two wins, but never been in the bottom 2 and won her lipsync battle.
Rupaul has never seen overly enthusiast about Rosé and even though she is a fierce competitor and such an all around formidable contestant, I am having a hard time seeing her winning.
On the other hand, Symone has what it takes and made such bold and powerful statement on her runway. She has also shown vulnerability and is so easy to connect with. And Gottmik has such a unique style and has both shown growth and versatility. Plus, her whole journey has been so contagiously thrilling to watch.
I am confident the crown will either go to Symone or Gottmik.

I love Rose and Symone too but I think Rose has grown and shown more over the season. In the end though, I hope whoever does the best wins. That being said, Kandy can’t win...that would pretty much mean that the whole completion didn’t matter.

I think GOTTMIK could be good in a finale lipsync, she clearly isn’t the most versatile/interesting queen when it comes to performing. But I feel like people felt the same way about Sasha velour, imo a lipsyncand for your life is completely different to a lipsync for the crown.
If Sasha had to lipsync against Shea or peppermint in one of the regular episodes I’m sure we can assume Sasha would probably go home

Idk it’s a lipsync performance not dance performance. Sasha could’ve did some high art type of thing while at drag race and idk why queens don’t take advantage of gags more often. Like Alaska bringing out the flag, kalorie throwing up money, kandy bringing out the glitter and Sasha with the rose petals, it all works and wins the lipsync.

If we go by the unspoken rule that no queen who has lipsynced more than once hasn't win, Symone is already out (but Peronka won Canada so maybe that's no an issue anymore)
The winner is between Rose and Gottmik. Rose for the storyline of losing the first lipsync to newcomer Olivia but proving herself as a real competitor, and Gottmik for the Trans representation that let's be real the show really needs.

am i the only one rooting for Symone or Gottmik to win? i love Rosé sm she is undoubtedly the most professional, talented queen this season but i find her personality to be quite bland, I’m not really sure what her drag stands for and what she will do FOR the drag/ queer community. Gottmik is hilarious and it would be amazing to have a trans winner
I agree with your point on Gottmik and somewhat on Symone, but Rosé represents the drag that has gathered recognition outside of Drag Race showcasing her talent and ending up mistreated or made fun of for "entertainment purposes". We even get to see that on this season from the get-go.

Top 4 has been the last 5 seasons so I definitely think this is it. They also said in the last episode that the final was after this challenge.
I think actually Gottmik is going to win. Symone has lipsynced two times for her life and has the second worst track record in the top 4 and aside from that, people think she’s going to win just like Bimini for example. And in the past 2 regular seasons of drag race the second best competitors has won (Yvie, Lawrence, Jaida...) and also Rose is a fan favorite. That means that the show, in effort to shock us, will crown Gottmik
im 100% here for this. Gottmik’s story is so unique & ive grown to love them. And can we just talk about how unexpectedly funny she is. One more thing, Mik could’ve had 1 maybe 2 more wins it was that close. the roast & this past one.
I dont think that Gottmik is winning this season. I was 100% sure gottmik would snatch the win this week, but the fact that she didnt win this week(The last competitive episode). I think they would give her this win if they wanted her to win :/

Who knows? Gotmik might have a fantastic reveal like Peppermint did in season 9 or what Yvie had in S11 to Edge of Glory. Um.. Rose is ok at lipsynching but remember between her and Olivia then Denali and Denali was phenomenal imo. I don't know who will win but I think prediction wide it'll be Symone or Gottmik. Symone makes a statement with she wears and her snatch game was brilliant. Rose has over all 10/10 talent. Singing and acting, humor etc plus she hasn't let the contest get to her either. The final lip sync never matter, even lip sync for the crown doesnt, Aquaria fucked it up on her and they made a double shantay with the edit, people that were there confirmed, so they can crown whoever they want
Symone should win she has slayed the challenges slayed the runway. Rosè has come off unlikeable to me and her runways have been average and her challenge performances have been okay I don’t think Symone’s two bottoms will stop her from winning. GottMik should’ve been in the bottom at least once but clearly they have saved her. Rosè and Tina should’ve been in the bottom for the makeover challenge idk how they were just low. But anyways whoever wins it is just a tv show and I will be happy for the girls.

I love Rose, but the issue I have with her run on the season is that even though she has the best track record overall she was just...there. Take Rose out of season 13 and not much will change, but take away Symone or Kandy or Gottmik out and it's gonna be a drastically different show. Honestly, it is we the fans that care much about track record and PPE shit but Ru and the producers don't, we also know that this is not just a competition show it is also reality tv, and based on that I feel like a Gottmik/Symone or Kandy/Symone or even Kandy/Gottmik top 2 is more likely than a Rose/Symone Top 2. Just my opinion.
I feel like she could’ve had a great story, hers was just never one the producers cared to show. Rosé made it to the top because she’s talented, not because anyone wanted her to be there, and the editing makes that painfully obvious. We haven’t been shown enough of her story for it to make sense for her to win, so even though she’s done exceptionally well overall it probably will be Symone or Gottmik. That’s what I feel though, but I’m rooting for her anyways.

I feel like she didn't open up enough about herself, even in the confessionals she's mostly talking about her fellow contestants and when she talked about herself it just wasn't deep enough to connect with her on a very personal level. But then again we only get to see about just an hour, imagine how much stuff they cut every week

I love Gottmik, Symone and Rosé and would be happy with any of them winning, but my money is actually on Gottmik. Symone being in the bottom two twice means I'd be really surprised if she was crowned since no winner ever has been in the bottom two more than once on a Ru judged season (so Canada doesn't count), and lots of people used to say that being in the bottom two twice basically means you don't win (Brook in S11?). For a while I thought Rosé had it in the bag but Ru's chat with her in episode 14 and her piece about why she should win in the reunion have me questioning things now (too bad cause I love her). Ru adores Gottmik, she hasn't been in the bottom two and was only low once (yes there was favouritism but still) so yeah my money's on Mik now but still love them all.

The results will be determined on whose gets who when the roulette is spun. If it lands on Kandy first. She will chose either Symone or Rose as their opponent. I can see Kandy being able to take on Symone. If it lands on Gottmik, she might take on Rose. Gottmik won’t take on Kandy and vice versa cause they are friends and it’s strategic so at least one of them makes it to Top 2.
If Symone gets to choose first, she might try and take out Gottmik first. That would result in a Top 2 of Symone vs Kandy/ Rose.
Gottmik has her best chance to make it to Top 2 if she Takes on Rose first.

Dear PopDrop Gottmik actually has a better Track record then Symone, so, just based off of the track records Gottmik and Rosé “should be” top 2
i would say my personal favourite of the 4 would be symone but i genuinely just don't think she deserves it when in comparison to rose..hell even gottmik. And what i fear most is that the producer will use her or even gottmik as their little token piece. I have a feeling that if rose wins the faux woke white toxic drag race stans will cause a riot bc she doesnt have a sad sob story and is white/cis. People forget that rpdr is a speck in their careers and pretty much all 4 are gonna do bigger and better things even those who didn't win..look at favourites like katya for example

im gonna be pissed is symone wins i love her so much but she was in the bottom twice and shes not the best lip syncer if she wins then brooke lynn deserved to win i want gottmik or rosé to win i would be happy if either one of them won (DONT HATE ON ME JUST MY OPINION)
