Back when Gilthunder in S1 was thought to be OP AF being able to go toe to toe with Meliodas until Ban was introduced, then Escanor. 😂, But he's still strong as a high ranking holy knight along with Howzer and Griamore.
I found that confusing even as a manga reader... though what was more distracting was there were only 8 commandments, initially. For good reason it turned out, but still.
