    Grubinger und Sietzen sind beide Meister ihres Fachs und beide spielen dieses Konzert exzellent. Dorman hat hier ein grossartiger Werk für das Konzertrepertoire geschrieben, für das wir dankbar sein dürfen. Ich bin sicher, dass noch viele Schlagzeugsolisten und Orchester das Stück in den nächsten Jahren spielen werden.

    Really nice performance! However, in my opinion, the hall is too "reverby" for this type of music (1st and last movement). All the percussive rhythmic aspect that is supposed to be short and crisp sounds a tiny bit longer and blurry as a result.

    good music. great orchestration, variety, contrast. The only problem is a lack of emphasis & subordination, and perhaps unity. And repetition. Im not remembering any repeated melodic figures from this.

    I love classis and orchestra and stuff but this just sounds chaotuc trash and a pain for ears
