Hello 👋🏻 we have just bought the same motorhome. Your tour is fantastic, it’s gives us a good idea where we can put things. Please could you tell me the size and dimensions of your solar panels ? I have 4 100watt panels waiting to fit but yours look much neater. Thanks
Great video. Re the awning flapping in the wind Dometic do a clamp that fits to the sides of the awning and you peg with a guy line to reduce the flapping. Not used it yet but costs around £12 so worth trying.
Thanks Rachel & David! glad you enjoyed the van tour, we do try and keep the van as tidy and organised as possible but it can very quickly get in a mess haha!!!
Thanks for the motorhome tour, really lovely inside layout, we've got a 2005 Swift Kontiki on a Ducati Chassis and we love it, only have 2 solar panels but liking your set up, all the best Julia and Gary
yall should get the eco flow ac unit. battery powered and uses very low energy compared to regular ac. u can recharge it with solar u have as well. may not even need the 8hr lasting battery with the solar and Eco flow power bank u have
Great tour of your van 😃 We have a C404 and your extra little bit of length gives you so much more space than ours. Can I ask where you got your seat covers? 😊
We're about to go full time in a couple of weeks and I've always said we're having a projector so as soon as you showed the screen I was off to the description for a link but there isn't one 😢
Oh thats amazing your going full time! Please see a link to our blog post, where you can find all the links - threeasabird.com/10-best-projectors-for-campervans-and-motorhomes/
Yeah ours has been a great van, we have actually just listed it for sale, as we are moving onto a different project, if you would like to email us or find us on instagram we can chat more about it.
Hi. Great video, thank you. QQ if I may about internet access outside of the UK. I’m fortunate enough to be able to work remotely for my employers including from my van outside of the UK, which I intend to take full advantage of next year. What do you use / recommend please? I’ll need fairly high bandwidth (lots of teams calls!) . Starlink or 5g are the obvious solutions, do you have experience of either? Thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks! yes get out if the UK so much better!! We have a 5g internet setup with EE, and we have unlimited European use but I think they have now stopped this, I think once our contract ends and we loose that, we will switch to starlink, its not too much more in terms of cost and speeds are a hell of a lot faster
Having lithium batteries does allow us to use a lot more electric items through our inverter but even though we have a 2000w inverter and 220w of battery power this isn't enough to run the microwave, these items take huge amounts of power to run and are just not worth it, they would drain the battery power. You still need to be a little conscious of the items you are using.
@@ThreeAsABird thanks for your reply, I’m just about to go lithium, same power as you and I was hoping to be able to run microwave, air fryer etc, guess I need to go a bit more power.
Also depends on solar, if you have enough solar coming in to recharge that helps also, we try and run our air fryer when its really sunny, not when its dark as they batteries just go down too much, but yeah the microwave just isn't even possible, would need at least a 3000w inverter or more and much bigger batteries, just isn't worth it for us

amazing thank you, so you will get better output by having a bigger panel, we have one - 340w 168x100 and 1 - 130w panel 102 x 68

@@ThreeAsABird thank you! They are just what we want! All I could find is those sheepskin/woolly ones and we really don’t like them 😃😄

@@ThreeAsABird thanks for that, I’ll stop messing about them and just get a Starlink setup. Appreciate your reply, look forward to more videos
You had a lithium setup 11 months ago, I thought the idea of lithium was being able to use a microwave and other electric appliances.
