To start with, it isn't your money, so you are stealing by finding. That might have been the difference between eating or not for some poor person. And before anyone says it, it's not tough luck on the person who lost it. If you really can't bring yourself to be 100% honest and hand the note in to a police station (yes, they will still accept it), at least give the money to charity. The last thing you should be doing is spending it on yourself, even if you are needy. That's mean and selfish and dishonest.
I found a £10 note one day and didn't feel any reproach about pocketing it. Why would I, I'm not very well off myself and I've lost more cash over the years than I've found. So someone else found my money, and I'm not stressing over that either. Anyway it was just a hypothetical situation in the video.

To start with, it isn't your money, so you are stealing by finding. That might have been the difference between eating or not for some poor person. And before anyone says it, it's not tough luck on the person who lost it. If you really can't bring yourself to be 100% honest and hand the note in to a police station (yes, they will still accept it), at least give the money to charity. The last thing you should be doing is spending it on yourself, even if you are needy. That's mean and selfish and dishonest.

I found a £10 note one day and didn't feel any reproach about pocketing it. Why would I, I'm not very well off myself and I've lost more cash over the years than I've found.
