Having spent 43 years as an installer repairman systems technician with NYT, ATT, LUCENT, AVAYA I have to commend you on your dedication to this project . What great memories. Thankyou
I wished I lived closer, as I'd be happy to give you a hand. Coming from a diverse communications background (i.e. radio, telephony, & railroad), as well as electronics & component-level trouble-shooting, I have a skill or two, that would lend itself to your telephony endeavors. I'm always impressed by your work & attention to detail... a quality sorely lacking today's world.
Your collection is impressive, and I must admit, I love the 10-button model 1500 phones. I have only seen one of them in use in my lifetime, at a friend's house--and I never knew until recently that they were only made between '63 and '68. I have a couple of old phones myself and they all will work if I connect them. I love seeing these!
This is absolutely incredible! I can see how much time and effort you put into your displays and systems. Thank you for sharing your progress and projects with us!
Wow, that's a lot of phones!! Having so many connected and functional is very impressive. I'm especially fond of Western Electric 202s, 302s, and similarly styled phones. I have a 202 on the desk beside me. It's currently connected to an FXS port on a Cisco 3845 router, which is running Cisco Call Manager Express and acts as my phone controller. I wish I had something more vintage to connect them to. I have two 302s. I haven't gotten their ringers to work yet. Would your video on fixing Western Electric 500 type phone ringers apply to 302s also?
Fantastic telephone museum! You willikely find all colors. Who made the clear telephone? Princess phones are the best design. Amazing that so manyvould have ownumber!
I really loved seeing your place. I'd love to come and visit again sometime... just have to get another good roommate. Rick passed away in 2016 from a diabetic heart attack.
This is a great collection! Although, I’m never gonna collect Stromberg sets due to them being lower quality. I also don’t like the extremely vibrant neon colors such as the bright line greens.
This is fantastic! Bucket list item. Do you have any older military phones, such as US Army WW II? I have two TA 312's, both working. Vietnam. Intend to get their switchboard.
We had ring down back in day for Fire Dist, we get long ring then it was like party line.. on 911 side they had phone and switch for ring never did see what they did at CO..

So cool!!!! Love all the colors. I remember some from when I was a kid, but other colors never knew existed!!!!
This collection is absolutely breathtaking!! I use classic phones at home but I've never seen so many together in place.
Extremely impressive collection, especially with how many are actually connected and have their own numbers

To me something that would be cool is hooking up a modern day phone to that system as well as all of the old phones. That is just me
What a great presentation!
A phone museum? Pretty Cool!
Amazing display!

I do not have any military hardware I may have a field phone but I'm not sure.
Wow!!!
Can you make the Switch Ring them all at one time?
Noit would take 100or so hours and lots of relays and ringing equipment.

Awesome!
When you've seen one telephone you've seen them all. Enough with all these phones! You, my friend need to get a life.
