My favourite song of him
The guitarist is Steve Stevens from Billy Idols band. One of the premier guitarists ever. The song was met with mediocre reviews by critics but shot to #1 all over the world. It was the second hard rock song from MJ and is one of my absolute faves.

You should look up the story of when he met princess Diana in the UK. She asked him if he would do Dirty Diana. MJ told her that they took it out out of respect for her. Diana then told him she actually liked the song. However it was too late to put it back in.

I disagree with BTS and Dimash. BTS is great and successful, but to be called GOAT you have to stand the test of time and you have to be an Inspiration and unique. Not all successful Artists become GOATS.

This song is from his 'Bad' album it's a really good album and has a lot of popular songs in but his most popular album is 'Thriller' witch is the biggest selling album of all time. here is a list of all of his solo albums (no jackson 5 albums are included): Got to be there - 1972 / Ben - 1972 / Music & Me - 1973 / Forever, Michael - 1975 / Off the wall - 1779 / Thriller - 1982 / Bad - 1987 / Dangerous - 1991 / History - 1995 / Invincible - 2001 / Michael - 2010 / Xscape - 2014. The last 2 albums where relesed after his death in 2009 they contain recored songs that Michael never put in any of his previous albums.

For this song, there were/are three possibilities for who Diana was, 1) Diana Ross, 2) Princess Diana and 3) Sheila E (Prince's ex). Diana Ross and Princess Diana were just friends with Michael (which he confirmed) however he did state the song wasn't about a specific person. Michael stated it was about groupies, that certain type of women. This was Princess Diana's favourite songs, unfortunately Michael never performed it the night the she attended his concert because he thought it would be an insult to her. There is a clip of them talking about this.
