Katy Hayes Bed Campaign, GFM

This video was created to support Katy Hayes' Go Fund Me campaign, so she can achieve another step in greater independence.
A single mother of two, an artist, and a quadruple amputee, Katy fell ill to a Strep A infection, through a cavity in her molar, which nearly took her life.
She awoke from a 2 month coma to discover her arms and legs had been amputated. Now, at age 49 Katy is working to re-establish herself and gain greater autonomy and mobility.
Katy is planning on purchasing a bed which will allow her to sit up and lay completely flat without the need to wake any of her children. Without an adjustable bed that can help her sit up with the simple touch of a button, Katy is completely dependent upon her children to help her get up for things as simple as going to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
Katy's purchase of this adjustable bed will also allow her to lay down and take naps as needed without assistance.
