I see a lot of people in the comments joking about not sleeping, so I just want to say that Insomnia is really a living hell, and most people don't know what it's like not being able to get any sleep, and it's really not funny at all.
The people making these jokes have insomnia themselves. Its a coping mechanism to make a joke out of it. We make jokes to make ourselves and others people feel better even in the darkest situations. learn about comedy :).

I was diagnosed with severe clinical insomnia in 2008 as well as a few other mental health issues later in in 2011. I was able to find songs that spoke to my other mental illnesses but I have found it hard to find ones for my insomnia. I just found this song and it not only speaks to my insomnia but screams to it. I have listened to a few Set It Off songs over the years but I absolutely love this one.

I have insomnia I’ve had it since I was 4 and it doesn’t matter about drinking coffee, it just something that happens and I’ve never drank coffee or anything with caffeine and I still have it till this day, in my entire life I’ve only had 8-10 drinks with caffeine in.... am I missing out on anything??😂😂😂

The lyrical content of this song is probably the best song you've ever written. The composing is fantastic, though less exciting than what you've written before. But I was blown away and I can't wait for a new CD.

Insomnia actually sucks, its painful to try to fall asleep and i cant because my head wont shut up about everything, i try to relax, get my mind off of everything, but i end up staring at my ceiling and getting aggravated at myself for not being able to sleep, i try to take sleep pills for it and it never works anymore, and its so exhausting to get up in the morning out of bed because i may have only gotten one hour of sleep or none, alot of people end up making fun of insomnia, its no joke, it really REALLY sucks.
The beauty of music is that it's about whatever you want it to be about. If you see the song as being about internet addiction then you are right, I however see it as being about some personal struggle I'm going through that I don't care to talk about, I am also right. Music is meant to express emotions and stir up emotions in you and help you express, or realize them.

My band "The Underline" opened for Set It Off back in September at The Loft in Poughkeepsie. It was probably the greatest show I've played in my life thus far.
