    Even after all these years, I'm not sure of the difference between a light frost and a hard frost. I live in middle Tennessee. We can have 80° one day which is followed by a flash freeze down to 0° a day or so later in the winter. And sometimes we don't have that, but we have yo-yo temps that go above 60 and then below 40. Suggestions?
