Sometimes one thing leads to another, in this case a sponsor leads to a new room entirely! On a budget of course.

great job and awesome home theater congratulations !!!! from mexico
Oh, the advantage of being a top-notch RUclipsr 🙂
Nice.... Bit of a HC nerd here and have been since blowing my first real wage packet in the 90s on a Yamaha amp and speakers on a richer sounds deal!
Big fan of SH kit and recommend avforums classified.
Speaker tech is mostly the same for decades but receivers and projectors have come a long way.
Staple gun and a roll of black velvet, beats painting and absorb light 😉
I would suggest putting the front speakers higher up - outside that box - mounted on the wall either side of the TV. Low sounds are directionless (sub can be anywhere) but mids and trebles should be at head level. So while you have all that space under there I wouldn't put your 2 fronts there, and possibly get the front speaker higher too.
Have you considered the 83" LG OLED TV?
Good advice regarding the front and centre speaker height. Will make a big difference.
I can't wait to see how it looks. I'd love a home cinema room
You should consider getting a screen instead of painting the wall. We have a similar setup in our basement and in my experience it made a big difference. 150 inch screen. $30. 1080p projector. $300. Sound bar with sub. $200. Still looking for the comfy seats…
wow, the chairs are not very Yorkshire friendly at £4,199.99, think I'd stick with the 2nd hand sofa!! :D Though they do look nice!
w1050 a good little projector - had a 1070 until a recent update to 4k (well faux 4k, they do a vibration thing to achieve it). £50 is mad for that - enjoy
Lot of good ideas that I would like to implement thanks for sharing
Get on the treadmill and put Zwift run on the projector 😂
You're living my dream. :)
Your receiver might overheat with all that insulation, that's the only thing that might go wrong. For future upgrades I would try to get a better receiver since sound is really important and if you want the best movie experience get physical media preferably blu ray lr 4k uhd blu ray with a blu ray player because you get way better graphics and sound from them then streaming.
Looks great. Nice that the speaker cloth hides the lights from the amp. Chairs look great.
Wow! 50 quid for that projector is a steal! I have one and the picture is terrific.
Very nice setup. I had one of those chairs and it was so comfortable, the only problem was my TV was on a stand and the chair tilts you back slightly so I had to look down. This resulted in bad neck pain after a few weeks, fortunately Costco took them back with no issues. Enjoy
My room isn't big enough for those chairs!
What about dolby atmos
Please ensure the amp is ventilated. Also consider putting your sub behind the seats.
Side note was the middle speaker sitting on top of polystyrene on top of the Amps ? .
I've had several sound bars and a surround sound package but it was only when I purchased a budget AVR with budget stereo speakers I realised what I had been missing (stereo imaging, thumping bass, enveloping sound stage etc) besides going down this route one could always add overtime.. surround speakers, subwoofers, one could even purchase height speakers to have the full non-virtual Dolby Atmos experience. If it's worth doing it's worth doing right!
Our ears follow our eyes to where the story lives.

I think that was Homer 🙀
Jim,ll fix it chair.
I’ve now get the Jim’s fix it theme tune going through my head.
You've got it wrong about the treadmill, the part of you that wants to throw it out is the proactive part, not the lazy part
The lazy part would leave it there and ignore it for another 5 years 😂
Cinema room looks great, I was wondering if some warm yellow lights behind the curtains near the top would give it more of a theatre feeling
