Intro to Version Control | HackCamp 2023

Wondering how you can work together with your teammates on a single project? Watch our Intro to Version Control workshop hosted by Alan and Byron! In this workshop, we teach you everything you need to know about using git to collaborate with your teammates to build a hackathon project! We’ll be covering the basics of Git and version control including branches, pull requests, best practices and more!
At HackCamp, we welcome hundreds of hackers, from first-time coders, to those transitioning to tech. We focus on providing a comfortable learning environment where newcomers can discover their passion for coding, and where accessible support is available for hackers to confidently build their first projects. We are part of an international celebration of diversity, accessibility, and inclusivity for newcomers in the Greater Vancouver hackathon and tech community. HackCamp spans across two days: Learn Day and Build Day, with a day full of beginner-friendly workshops on the first day and a full day of building and hacking on the second.
