I got Luffy a week ago and the legs weren’t loose and all I had to do was loosen the tight shoulder joints and tighten the neck joint. So I guess I got lucky with it
So SHF basically put the equivalent a limiter on the knees? Why in the world would they do that? Reminds me on how 90% of dragon ball 2.0 figures had that stupid ab limiter that would allow the torso to go deeper, granted it was a super easy fox since all you had to was snip it off but not something that should even be a problem
Tamashii doesn't seem to iterate, everything is done from scratch for whatever reason. A figure has fantastic leg and hip articulation? Get ready to never see it again outside of that line.
I really should, the thing about VAH is they're all a pain in the butt and loose. In 1 way or another. I recommend Ace, the new Wano Luffy and Zoro, and any of the few antagonist characters. I don't recommend their TS Luffy at all, hes just terrible.
At this point, they just need to do a recall for this figure because my version had the same problem but only with the left leg. Literally had to super glue it back on and now it moves well.
Idk about you but on the g5 pics it kinda looks like the hip joint is different plus the belt is a separate piece (actually the hip worries me because it looks like it has less forward/outward articulation) 🤔
dude the same thing happened with my shf cgi goku i just put i justput a peice of play doh in the little hole for the leg socket and let it dry, when it dries, crumple it into two peices, put in the leg hole and the join will be tighter than bark on a tree.😂

Wow the hips on yours are so bad! I don't know what happened there. Mine are nothing like that. They squeak a little when I move them, but they don't flop when I shake the figure and they certainly don't fall off! I'm glad you showed the knee mod, as I was curious. I don't think I'll do it as I don't like how it leaves a hole in the back of the shorts. Overall the articulation is disappointing on this one compared to other SHFs, and for a flexible guy like Luffy, it's a shame. Still looks awesome on my desk though, and that's what I wanted him for. I really like that coat though, shame there's no way to get it without buying a whole other figure.

I just got mine and none of the joints are too loose, if anything a lot of them started out really tight and squeaky.

It can be a tiny flat piece of paper too. The paper mod, just insanely simple. I used some paper for his waist joint too recently.
