I am most struck by this: this album the songwriting leaves a lot of room for Hayley to sing, and be melodic in the best sense.
I love Paramore's Pop Punk guitars over the years, and their hard charging anthems that we all know. This feels different. This song, and Running Out Of Time...there is so much room for her to take the tempo of the song, the melody, directly in her voice and moves during performance. It must be so much fun for her to sing these songs. John mayer once said that he really tried to only write songs that felt good singing in his singing voice while he was performing. I think they really made a beautiful record. I am so happy :)
