Very nice knife, I have the original model. The price though...it just can't be justified for what you are getting. One of my only Benchmade purchase regrets.
Why a polish dlc for the blade? With that combo, I would think a matte finish would be better. Operator knife, but then that would be in a Black Class. I say I don't want anymore duplicates in the collection, I'll wait until I see a huge discount first.😅 Thanks for sharing Zach.👍
This is a big step forward from Benchmade on the Narrows IMHO. Up to this point I wasn't very motivated to step up to the plate on the original version largely due to the cost and lack of personality. This stealthy murdered out version has changed that and the motivation factor is headed upwards. Thank you for another great release video and getting this in front of us so quicklly! #DSKFS

I like the overall look and design of this knife. I am more about what a knife feels in the hand rather than how it carries in the pocket. I like all types of knives in my collection, so I do have lightweight knives in my collection. For me, the premium money goes to more full-size knives.
Great looking knife. At 600, I am hesitant to add it to my collection as its not likely twice as good as my paramilitary 2 in DLC that is half the price.
The shiny blade was a surprise for me too...but I have a theory! Yes the blue hardware has to be swapped....or maybe I can get a 2nd set of hardware somewhere??!!
Eh, I think the original looks better 🤷♀️ Making the blade match the matte finish of the handle I think would’ve been cooler, more reminiscent of stealth planes. The blade hardware switched onto the gray Ti might look cool, but I don’t know about the blue on black (hard to imagine 😂) I think the lock stick will wear in too. I wish they had put the Narrows on washers, that was disappointing… one of the biggest advantages of a stainless blade on washers is the carefree ability to take it to the sink and clean it with a small brush, soap, and water. Bearings cause hesitation, even if unnecessary. If you go around switching hardware and disassemble the knife could you take some precise measurements of the bearings so a washer could be sourced (internal/external and ball diameters)? The polish under dlc was a miss imo. Would’ve looked much nicer with a more matte finish.
I like the look, but having the scales/handles darker and powdery makes it a good candidate for a matte finish for sure like you mentioned!
