My daughter graduated Covid Class 2020 and I'll say this sometimes things suck for a reason but later in life it all makes sense. You see in a perfect world..... Wait, there is no perfect world. So I had to visit my daughter more the times she was struggling. It is a big part of a child's success at MHS is for them to know as a parent you didn't give up on them. The reason you are there as a student is better structure for your overall success. MHS may be free but it comes with great sacrifice. You have to put in the work. You have to accept the challenges you will face, you will face them. This school gives you the opportunity to invest in yourself and it involves your commitment. You will earn what MHS will reward you with. You will leave MHS accomplished and with a hunger for something bigger. I pray all of you students commit and take this time to invest in YOU!!!! @@chrisdemonight493 What happened in the history of the school is different than it is now. Sure, it's not all it advertised but they don't kill kids..
(I go to mhs but I am temporally home because of the pandemic)Tbh this school can be awesome but it can also be awful. My experience with the school is a mix of really good and really bad. And the school has changed a lot since this video was made. If anyone is watching this now and wants some more inside information lmk.
@@williamgill5286 the students I think are the awful part. It’s like a normal school in that way you get people who are super kind and will be nice to other people and then you get people who are just absolute jerks and will verbally, emotionally, and sometimes even physically harm you.
@@fkggbnjkb1717 it’s different for everyone, me personally i think it took 1 year, and my brother applied at the same time and he’s been waiting almost 4 years. but if the school think ur not in a safe environment (for example: living with someone who is hurting you, homeless, can’t afford food, stuff like that) they will enlist you in a “ emergency enrollment”
I actually plan on going to this school , I went for the tour, it's gorgeous. You guys are really ungrateful , your parents sent you there to get your education not free time. ChoRES are chores, it helps not to be lazy in life.
I'll probably be going soon. The people in the comments seem ungrateful. I don't know tho bc I haven't gone yet. I look forward to it though. Edit: Nah bro they were more right than we thought.
Yeah, this school is terrible. They drove a girl into suicide, they seem like absolute shitheads. Don’t call us ungrateful. I suffer from depression and other issues so I’ll probably be treated terribly if I ever went there.
@@fkggbnjkb1717 Hey so I go back tmr bc my break and quarantine are over and so I wanna give you some stuff from my experience so far. -depending on what grade(im in 7th) and team your on(Middle division has each grade into 3 'teams', People can be rude and kinda stuck up. -Most teachers are very nice, on my team. -Bring notebooks/books/sketchbooks! Or anything you think you might br allowed to have, if you're wrong most likely they'll give it back when you go home for visits or breaks. -dont worry about other people. I know that is so much easier said than done, but dont let them get ou out of it. -Homesickness is a thing and it DOES eventually go away. -Be yourself. Don't be fake. -try your best on your work. -remember what entrance your student van drops you off at. It's the same one they pick you up in everytime unless told otherwise which you most likely wont. -stuffed animals are allowed in moderation. -houseparent rules may vary. Same basic rules in every home but other rules vary depending on what home you're in. -Enjoy the little things. Like simple conversations with your housemates 'n stuff. If there's anything else you'd like to know about please reply before 3pm tmr. Lol. Have a good night and I wish you luck!
