The Hour Of Joy was the most brutal and horrifying event for both of the toys and employees, part of me thinks that they didn't want to do it but the Prototype didn't give them a choice. They never had one in the beginning...
Actually I think of it more as them thinking / being manipulated into thinking that killing the employees will free them so they can return to their original lives, sadly they didn’t realize that’s not how it works anddd INSANITYYYYY YAAAA
