Actually Courtney didn’t do pyramid this time. A coach from Prodigy Allstars Midnight did because they’re sister teams and you can tell there’s a difference because if you look at SE’s pyramids from 2020-last season….they’re all basically the same, but with this new one it’s completely different because another coach from a completely different team choreographed it.
This! Like I understand that Courtney likes to keep their routines simple and basic but doing that has costed them a Worlds win since 2013 and they only won last season because no other team in their division hit. As much as I love SE and think the girls are amazing…..I don’t think Courtney believes in them because as a good cheer coach….no matter what level your team is, you should wanna push them to do more and to keep challenging them, but Courtney doesn’t do that, and she wonders why they’ve lost Worlds so much, and the score sheet literally scores for creativity….which I’m sure they always get a low score on, so how that does click into Courtney’s head idk. She gives them basic routines but then waters them down so much to the point where almost every routine since 2020 has looked the exact same and they’ve become known as the team that does repetitive routines which isn’t good. If SE truly wants to win….they should have a coach from another team completely out of CEA come and work with them because Courtney doesn’t know creativity.

For the part of the song in between “do everything for teal love……..throughout history…” when they did the downward inversion for the main stunt, they didn’t do that at first they just held their left legs out and steadily swung them around. They didn’t do a downward inversion at first but they switched it to a downward inversion after one of the competitions, because apparently it was too much of a difficulty skill or something.
@@tiamarrow6366 they took it out due to varsity not knowing how it’ll score so it was best that they took it out. and they were still world champs at the end of the day. otherwise, not much of the stunt change besides the leg hold

I enjoyed watching. Great job! My only critique is that the line of people on the back wall are very distracting. As they jump up and down and raise their arms, it takes away from the routine. Maybe all the seats were taken, idk. Just my observation. Good luck, girls! 🎉

routine was cool but was clouded by the bullshittery at the beginning that should be done BEFORE THE PREP so they come out with a great mindset, it's not meant to be seen by the audience....
They do it every year it’s a tradition and they also have the Senior that were in the team before join them on the outside. It’s a traditional thing and it’s a SHOWCASE. It’s only done at showcase they do all of this backstage at comps no need to be disrespectful about their tradition as a team.
