The way I kinda optimistically think about the Denver game is, our 3rd QB this season is averaging a 20/1 attempts per interception ratio. Which only sounds bad when you have him THROW 60 FN TIMES lol
Love all of your stuff but the whole "franchise QB" notion doesn't really make sense when you think about it in terms of @25:00, especially after Blake laid out everything that Blake just did. -No run game -Defense giving up big plays and drives I would love to hear who the panel believe the "franchise QBs" are because we might not be understanding what's really going on our this here NFL..lol. When you really take a step back, what is being said is "since Week 8, we've had a top 3 passing offense and the passing offense is the only reason most of these games have been competitive since then, but the QB orchestrating this offense isn't a franchise QB because he can't win without a run game and defense." Funny enough, when you look at who would be considered "franchise QBs," the same can be said about them...lol
That’s a great point. I love the Lions as an example. I don’t think anyone thought Detroit was getting a SB franchise QB in that trade, probably a bridge guy until they draft the next young QB. Turns out Goff is completely capable of leading a team with a strong defense and run game. You’re spot on. Football is the total team game and overall situation matters so much.
@@TheDawgsPodcast Crazy you mentioned the Lions because I actually had that in the original post and then took it out. I'm a Jared Goff truther and felt that he was scapegoated in LA but I'd be a liar to say that their success lives and dies by him. They have the best RB tandem in the NFL and Aaron Glenn built the #2 defense in the league. Don't get me wrong, Goff is playing great, but I saw him throw 5 interceptions, complete only 50% of his passes, and they still beat Houston..lol. If we are being honest, the same can be said about Mahomes and the Chiefs. They are skating by on defense and luck. But then we take a look at Burrow leading the #1 passing offense in the NFL and they are projected to have a top 10 pick. With your current pass offense, an average run game, and a healthy defense, you all would be SCARY team.
Anyone seen Myles Garret?
I say yes since it's been 20 years since the squealer sweep. Time to unleash the chubster

Does Blake have a new lisp?
Haha no, he can never get his mic to work on Discord. So his audio is always rough.
