I am proud to be a Yoruba man enjoying indigenous music far away from home here in the UK - I feel like crying listening to my mother tongues in such a wonderful music - many thanks guys!!!
This bring fresh memory of my early childhood growing up in Ilero . This cassette was/is my dad favourite. God bless you for this upload. May his soul rest in peace
May the Lord of our ancestors always be your guide. I do not know what to say to you because thank is not enough. This is great and my children will appreciate it because we lost all my collections on Adegator. There is another musician that made IGUNNUKO records. He is from the Ifo-Ewekoro axis of Abeokuta. Please it will please me and I know many other people if you can lay your hands on any of his records. May God be with you and protect you. Thanks.
Fantasitc. There was a local bar on my street in Lagos that used to play Adegator and I loved his music. I am looking for one that goes "Egbe Ayinla a o wonyon tolomige ba le wa wa" I would fall over in ecstasy if you have that and post it.
Tanks so much. He is from Iganna near Okeho in Oke Ogun. D man would have bin great but economic and environmental factors affected him. I am Okeho abroad but my dad used 2 play it and d local dialect is very interesting. Is he still alive?.I am so happy listening to d music.
Tayewo121. thank you very much. i have been looking for this for over 5 years. By the way Iganna is in Oke-Ogun not Ibarapa. Words are not enough to thank you. I am from KOMU.
I would love to know where to get any Egba music. I was only able to find Ganiyu Akanbi on here. I grew up listening to my dad's Egba music collection and went to high school in the Ifo area.
