@@jiggyquinn5635 Or, it's great that now instead of it being a male-dominated thing, I can now show my 9 year old daughter lots of different shredding guitarists that aren't just males which was rare when I was growing up in the 70's. Good that more people are seeing human and not just man and woman in set roles. We like Chappel Roan as well. Go all humans!

i love this. it is good to see orianthi putting out some original music. (i was stuck on watching her voodoo child videos) incidentally, i watched the whole performance. it was the first time i have done that, and i enjoyed all of the songs. (with previous performances i just wasn't interested in listening to some of the songs) i think this performance is a step up! still, i think there is room for improvement in orianthi's guitar-playing.
when i say that there is room for improvement, i mean that sometimes she is picking the strings so fast that the sound doesn't come through and so it isn't "musical." she needs to think about that, about making the sound musical rather that trying to demonstrate that she can pick the strings fast.
Once Joe put it on the neck PUP is the reason why LPs separate from the rest. No other guitar sounds like a LP and the lead PUP had a lot of bite. You can hear the notes better.
not criticizing her or anything but Ori is such a talented singer and guitarist that she doesn’t have to have her blouse unzipped to show her bra to get attention,just let her playing do the talking just my opinion
It's weird to see Joe so dressed-down on stage. Usually it is nice suits for he and the band. Recently when Matteo Mancuso wore jeans and a hoodie when he joined Joe on stage, Joe joked that Matteo "missed the memo on dress code" 😂

As a guitarist I wanna she her ripping it up, her fingers, technique, etc.. maybe just a bad angle but face em when ur going to trade off but face the crowd when ur tearing it up. Meh. Joe shouldn't have followed her lead, and stuck with good blues feel. She plays well but blues isn't her thing. She sounds like most metal players who try to play blues. Good for her, but blues is not as easy as I IV V makes it seem. Blues licks sound like phrases. Metal sounds like scales technique. His first solo and her trying to follow is the distinction. Then he started trying to follow her with inappropriate scales.

She's a great player but her presence is more like a gimmick.

She’s talented for sure but imho she sterile sounding…not soulful…Joe is exceedingly technical but his hands have been to the Crossroads!
