As a Tyr with 9 stars a big tip most Tyr players make is switching to red stance then ulting immediately after. Yes damage is increased from the power but your main goal is to CC lock them and put down damage with the rest of your abilities. Jumping in with blue isn't too much better than Jumping with red, but if you have to then ult in- dash then cancel with your heal, switch to red, knock up, then 2 to keep up. So the main thing to pick up is to have all of your cool downs when you initiate with your ult no matter the stance. Its nice to start with red stance but don't lose your cool downs especially the stance switch.
You're stars don't necessarily mean your good. Please stop mentioning how many stars you have. I'm not saying your wrong or bad but please stop. Stars are play time not experience
@@kieranpearson5096 this is not to say I'm good either its actually for what you are saying, which is that I have a lot of experience. I never mentioned anything for skill but I do agree with your statement that people use stars as an excuse for skill
This though..... for real dude. This is the second comment I've posted on you tube in like 3 years. Other is for coach in madden. Dude you have single handedly helped me so much. Started like maybe a week ago. Hardcore 20 plus year gamer and never played a MOBA. Just fed up with the disaster that cod has become. I would have played paragon but had nothing to play it on when it was out. Its definitely a steep learning curve for being brand new to the game and genre. But that's what's got me so hooked.
One thing that Incon forgot to mention is that you can cancel out of your 1 by using your two. If you are part way through the dash you can immediately use your two and it will cancel out the dash. This way you don't have to do the full 1 in blue stance , dash through a person and cancel it early so you don't keep moving away and stay in range, or if you miss so you don't keep going in the wrong direction. This includes the 1 in your assault stance so you can actually mess up the knock up by using your 2 too early and cancelling the second hit of your 1, I have seen it so many times on new Tyr players and they get confused why the knock up didn't work. Also Incon keeps saying that things like root work with the passive but they don't. They did originally but it was too OP so they removed roots. Stuns, Taunts, Fears, Intoxicate, and Mesmerize cannot affect Tyr for longer than 1s.
Thanks man I just felt like upgrading my gameplay and started watching guides for gods I’m new to and my games just got a lot better also thank you for suggesting items after you sell the blessing
Tyr needs Blink to engage. Always try to get Blink and Thorns or maybe Beads if you go a more squishy build. You can fast clear the last wave with 4 abilities before the first back so you should only loose 1-3 creeps. Thats totally fine and makes you way more useful late. Dont know about this build. No need for Gaia at all on Tyr. You already have insane sustain. Gaia just increses the worth of antiheal against you. Also this much hp build gets wrecked hard by Qins. I dont see leveling the ult after one point. The damage and cooldown isnt impactful and you want your 1/2 combo to deal max damage and look to rotate to 1 shot squishies at that point.
I always see these ranked games watching incon and FineOkay and damn they never fight, as soon as i step near the wave in casuals the enemy laner runs to fight me 😂
@@aizensa9708 most people just find it more fun to fight then farm. Unless you're enemy is playing something like Osiris Arthur and set then its understandable why they would fight a lot
Tyr doesn’t like cripples. Play a squishy who has a cripple will help, (Poseidon, Ah Muzen Cab, disco, or something) if it’s in casuals though sometimes tyr just gets to feel OP for a game, no way to really counterpick. Another good thing most people overlook is pre-beads the knock up. It won’t work on good players every time, but these are tyr mains we’re talking about 😉
Don't play his game. He's going to want to engage you when he has his red combo up and when he can clear while brawling. Tyr actually struggles a bit to clear lane if he's using all his abilities on the enemy God.
I main tyr and I still think tp is essential if you want to maintain leads and ensures that you aren’t much in an xp deficit from an enemy who took tp and you didn’t. I’d just get both tp first and blink. Tyr is tanky enough and his passive to more often than not escape death.
@@Masternjs It depends on your build. Even with his passive if you go a more damaging bruiser build you want beads because they can still one shot you if you get caught out
Joughtons (sp), sledge, heartseeker, then whatever you need. You can go more damage, hybrid items, defense. You can transition into more of a frontliner or go full damage. Is building really so complicated in smite? You get your core 3 items, anti heal when you need it, and go from there on every god.

He's a meh pick that you play not to lose lane with or without blink. His biggest strengths are honestly just being able to proxy and hyper farm or be a bit of a flex pick. I'd rather play him jungle and support as Arthur, swk, ama, nike, cathulu, hell even set do better out of solo since they don't fall off so hard.

Tyr tip. When soloing your blue buff in tyr's attack stance use his one because little blue minions won't spawn
Every Tyr-video I have watched that you made you always stomp the enemy team!
Ps. Tyr also loves movement speed.
How do you fight him tho? Feels like he constantly zone you out or kills you as a squishy

what are the beads for? You can't get cc'ed on him for more than a second and if they have a pull you can ult or just run out after.
