Stallone is almost 80 year old and still doing action films. What a legend
Guess it's true you're never too old to do what you love
age is only a number some of these guys if they can stay in shape there no limit to what they can do
Action as in what we see, what are stunt doubles and what is obviously someone else in a suit or even CGI. But yea, he's still awesome.
@@tilasole3252 problably but the man is still in top shape
@@rammur definitely. He puts me to shame even when I was in my prime in my military days.
This man is a legend and a treasure to us cinephiles. Mid 70s and doesn’t even look like he’s missed a day. And like the best old school movie stars, he’s still making movies for the fans.
You are right.
He’s being digitally de-aged to look much younger. It happens a lot now. This movie looks like trash btw

I read this is Andy Samberg's voice.
"Things start to fall apart when you stop caring!" Powerful line right there!!

Ain’t it the truth! 😁
a lesson for your timeline hm?
Stallone career LOL
@@richarddavis3157 he still is the best around alongside pacino deniro jack and chris walken... you got bill murry and a few others but that's about the top of the the top, and they can actually act but yes they are all super old and no replacement to be found
About freakin time the movie industry found a superhero character/story that fits a true legend!!! Look at most other actors. Stallone is quiet humble thriving actor. Not flashy, loud, or negative. He’s an asset to the industry and in some ways an inspiration for some to follow.
That's because he's old and been around the block a few hundred times.
Unfortunately i thought the movie was terribly boring, with a lackluster plot and an annoying kid actor.
it's just a clone cash in of a bunch of other movies xD
I watched Arnold and Stallone's movies and was awestruck by their performance during my childhood. To be able to see them again in my 20s is a blessing and man I am hyped....even current generation stars don't hype me as much as these stars.
Wait until your 55. I've got boots older than you 😆

I’ll miss Stallone whenever he retires from acting. He brings a certain gravitas to the screen that today’s actors don’t have.
Wish I was related to the great Stallone he’s the perfect Grandfather..
One of a kind!!, loved him since I was young, he has that charisma, never will he be replaceable 🙏🏻
Exactly
He definitely brings a certain Veritas to the action hero genre.
Even in Lords of Flatbush in his early 20s he had gravitas. Its due to casting tho. Casting directors prefer light in the loafers types these days for lead roles, not dead eyed mumblers. To be fair tho, Sly did kinda carve out a place for himself even back then
With people getting sick of super hero movies, I feel like these super hero movies have a grittiness about them that sets it apart. Looks great and can't wait to see it

a living legend. Silvester Stallone is the best action movie actor ever lived. Cobra, Rocky, Rambo, Cliffhanger ... its expressiveness, its scenographic presence is unattainable. over the past 15 years I have seen hundreds of action movies with new actors. currently nobody, NOBODY is able to compete with Sly.
I really like Sly and definitely think he's one of the best.
My favorite is Arnold.
Wait what movie is Cobra from?
Idk bro I'm have give that to Tom Cruise but yes totally Stallone is an icon and he's the GOAT

Been a Stallone fan for nearly 4 decades now and he still is my original Hero
Exactly ✊🏽👏🏽
Personally for me it’s been 3 decades!!
I remember first watching Rocky 1-5 and Rambo first blood part 1-2 then 3, Cobra, demolition man and Cliffhanger when I was barely 7 or 8 years old 😂
I absolutely loved the 80s and 90s action movies (some 70s)
I mean some of the earlier 2000s were ok but it was definitely starting to decline with the exception of a few here and there.
THIS!!
He is 76 year young but still quite impressive!! Schwarzenegger is just a year shy at 75!!!
I just checked out Rambo during the Military/Cop cars truck scene. The similarity between that and the scene with him in the truck now in this trailer is uncanny.
I 5 Dude.
I'm 41 years old and Stallone is still my hero and still inspires me, legend!!!!!!
Hopefully he inspires you to learn to cross the road safely?
He is 76 year young but still quite impressive!! Schwarzenegger is just a year shy at 75!!!
Pathetic but sweet
Yes, instead of a retired military/government spy/assassin, give us a retired superhero with an older action movie legend. I'm all in!
Stallone deserves all the praise he can get. He's been robbed of so many oscars for the Rocky franchise.
Very true.
Yes 💯
Not just Rocky but he had some amazing performances in films like Cop Land which were totally overlooked
The ending of first blood was Oscar worthy yet he went home with nothing
He has an oscar for writing the first one. Only the rights for the character he created belong to the son of the producer who basically did nothing to deserve them.
Stallone will always have my respect as being one of the original Action heroes - Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Chan and others ran so that the current generation of Action stars could walk.
Also Chuck Norris, Clint Eastwood a, Harrison Ford, Steven Siegal and Van Damme.

Sylvester Stallone is Still better than any other action hero.. specially he bring a new Face of the society with old problems like poority, Homelessness, Single mom's survival issues

His talent is limitless, . Actor, Director, Writer. The difference is he knows where to apply the basic human emotions and bring life into the mega action formula.
I clicked thinking this would have a cheesy made-for-tv flop vibe, but this looks incredible. Stallone is bringing his acting chops to this role AND the action looks tight with a good story. It's like his version of Logan, embracing the older tough guy image.

A real super hero doesn't needs costume. Sylvester still got it..💪👏
In the preview, he is, in fact...wearing a costume. He is a fake hero now, right?
This is the kind of tough stuff we crave. BRING IT ON.
There's only one man on the entire planet who can convincingly play a 70-something badass.
I'm not that old (Maybe I'm lol) but I was there when Rambo came out, then 'Rambo' 2 and 3. Of course, who can forget the original 8bit shooting game of the franchise. Then 'Commando' appeared out of the blue- And the Stallone-Schwarzenegger affair has begun! Stallone is the biggest idol to many of the 80's kids like myself. Not only a legend- But the best blockbuster actor of that time! Let's not forget Rocky franchise that rocked the theaters during all of that, and endless reruns on the small screen, which was very small that days!
And despite his age, he can perfectly act as an action hero.
Sylvester and Arnold never get OLD ,,,,they get better with age ❤️❤️❤️
F*ck Arnold. He’s a sellout. That bit he did about red lights and v4cc1n35 forever tarnished his image.
Except one is a brainwashed puppet for the left and one is still a boss :D
Sorry, but Arnold is now just another babbling leftist idiot. Not on the same level as Stallone and Eastwood.
A Stallone movie like this will never ever get old ! Amazing keep em coming.
"i pick up garbage for a living pal" made me lol !
Dude is almost 80 years old and still kick in it on action movies, what a badass.
Always loved Sylvester Stallone and despite his obvious physical limitations he crafted an amazing physique and kept it for literally decades?! But it's his underrated acting ability that always impressed me with him going way back to the original Rocky and Rambo Movies.
And bring it back to now with Rocky Balboa, Creed and Rambo Last Blood he's just as good now as he's always been. And now with Samaritan we see Sylvester going back to his roots because this guy has always been a true believer and right now that's what we need Heroes we can believe in?!
Pretty much. But do you mind shedding more light on his obvious physical limitations? I'm really curious
his obvious limitations? do you mean his lip?
He is 76 year young but still quite impressive!! Schwarzenegger is just a year shy at 75!!!
what really impressed me was finding out, he in deed wrote the script for Rocky and co-wrote the script for Rambo.

Cleaning the streets from the garbage and the trash, in literal and metaphorical sense.
Respect to Amazon Prime for exploring the Superher Genre.
The Boys is the best thing that happened to the platform, 2nd is Invincible
3rd is The Tick
Yes, we have something different, not the same shit like Marvel movies
Third season of The Boys made no sense and they ruined so many characters. They just keep on steering more and more away from the comics. Bosch is by far the best thing that happened to that platform.
That is the point of The Boys live action is to have a seperate story from the comics that's why it is not like the comics, yeah sure they made some similarities from the comics but you know The Boys live action is the best thing that happen on the platform.
Well here’s the best example I can give of season 3 ruining a character. Kimiko fighting against soldier boy, soldier boy explodes, causing her to lose her powers and suffering injuries that put her in the hospital for a few days and it wasn’t until she convinced Frenchie to inject her with V until she is fully healed but Mauve pushes soldier boy out of Voight tower, falling soldier boy explodes causing mauve to lose her powers then falls about 20 more stories then landing in a dumpster? Only to walk away with her girlfriend the next morning without her powers and only a new bruise on her face. Doesn’t make any sense and ruins a good character in Mauve. Sure I understand they aren’t going to do the Mauve death from the comics but they certainly had the chance to do it in the live action version and they didn’t. A character doesn’t have to live to have a great character arc, anyone remember that guy named Eddard Stark………. And all that being said I’m hoping the Boys do the comic book ending of Butcher and the boys……. Just saying………
Greatest action star of all time for me. Stallone OG.
I'm getting "Old Man Logan" feels from this trailer but the movie looks to delve deeper in the realistic emotional and physical downside of an aging superhero in a world that just goes on than the Logan movie did. Excited to watch this movie!

@liquid sword I dont think he is saying it didn't. I think he is saying Samaritan looks to be pursuing that same line of thought further.
What a great movie. And so nice to see Sylvester Stallone still playing in movies. And he still looks good too for his age. This one's definitely getting a thumbs up and I'm going to give it a 9 out of 10
Can't wait to check out Samaritan on Prime Video. I've said it once, I'll say it one more time. That movie would've been in theaters if COVID-19 didn't happen.

I was going to complain about them casting someone as old as Stallone as an action star, but then it turns out it's a movie about a long-retired super hero and it works. Nice. I'd see this.
Don't believe the Rotten Tomatoes critics reviews, as usual they're completely at odds with what the general public like.
