- Enjoy our live Monday Night Travel party with this video recorded on June 5, 2023.
Rick is just back from a grueling 30 days of nonstop guidebook research - and nonstop eating! He savored roast suckling pig in Toledo, dunked churros into hot chocolate in Madrid, slurped gazpacho in Sevilla, treated himself to jamón ibérico in Córdoba, cooled down with sangria in Granada, and munched on gourmet tapas in the hill towns of Andalucía. Then, after couscous in Morocco, Rick met up with his buddy Steve Smith in the French Riviera for a salade niçoise in Nice and bouillabaisse in Antibes…and that's just a taste of the feast we'll enjoy in this delicious edition of MNT.
Sneak a peek at Rick's newest (and as-yet unedited) mouth-watering food and drink recommendations for Spain, France, and Morocco before they hit the guidebooks: www.dropbox.co...

Love these vids. I also think it's hilarious how Steve repeatedly disses tourists and crowded tourist experiences... and then shares how he has 100 tour buses in Europe right now... 🤣
He makes an excellent point about Airbnb.
Fantastic thanks for sharing you're awesome and I'm learning so much
wonderful
Not everyone has phones i think those QR codes are very unpleasant even though i have an iphone i despise using them. Good old fashion easy to read menus should never be replaced. I have heard a menu is like a business card an extended part to your restaurant. Nice video Rick so informative aside from my negative comment LOL.
Rick, a little bird told me that while you’re renowned for being a son of Puget Sound, you first greeted the world in the inland empire, a stop on Route 66. Symbolic for an inveterate traveler!

Rick Steves and the Intimate Snatches sounds like a dramatic retelling of his early romantic days
we did a private 2 person tour in Tangier from Spain and our guide took us here. I was so disappointed. Then food was fine but I knew it was a tourist zone. We specifically said we didn't want to do that, but they we were at his mercy. Oh well. Overall he wasn't that great of a guide anyways despite getting high ratings on tripadvisor.
Where can we download the notes sheet he mentions with his restaurant recommendations?
Same question.
Rick's notes sheet is linked in the description. Thanks for watching!
Its up above in the 2nd paragraph with Dropbox in the title.
1:03:18 - Rick Steves starting to film 2 Iceland episodes next week. Will be giving a report on August 7.
Sorry, watched this after the original airing and didn't get the notes emailed to me or downloaded.. Can anyone name the 6 guides he spoke of in Tangier?? He said he had a list of all of them???
See the description for a link to Rick's notes, which include the Tangier guides. Happy travels!
