What are you smoking saying Pharah only does 40 damage on a direct hit? She does 120 damage on a direct hit. She wouldn't be playable if she did only 40.

Not sure what she meant there but technically Pharah deals 40 on direct shots + 80 splash, and minimum splash dmg is about 25 dmg
@@stpSEP pharah does 55 dmg on direct hit + 65 splash dmg which = 120 total dmg.
@@stereocodes According to wiki it's 40, and according to the said wiki it went from 55 to 40 in April 6th of 2020, which is OW1
@stpSEP you still get hit by 120 dmg during a direct hit. It's just the 40 doesn't apply if you hit the ground under their feet but the rest of the splash will

This would have been better off as what it looks like…. An adventure game with a Guardians of the Galaxy flavor, and Destiny gunplay. All these companies milking the same formula hoping for the next viral team shooter is just a recipe for failure, to me.
No they just have to do it right. PvP FPS are and will always be king of gaming and they aren’t really any great ones so there’s 10/10 demand.

The most important question is, does it have an FOV slider on console? The video footage is way too narrow.

The beta for this one is going to be intersting. The team behind this game is definitely capable of making great multiplayer FPS games, and the development has been smooth compared to many development nowadays, according to some reports.

Although I'm not interested in this game, I've got to say this was a very well made, in depth video. Great explanation of the mechanics and the gameplay looked like someone with a lot of experience and not the typical gameplay ign has been memed for.

This game is DOA, releasing just a couple months before COD will all but inevitably kill whatever hype the game manages to capture and Fragpunk's shard system will make it the better hero shooter when it comes out early 2025.

Im happy to hear games being ripped apart and analyzed on a technical level but surprised to even hear acknowledgement of this and wondering when will be applied to multi decade old cod, a game fischer price rockets and just absolutely no consistency or dmg balancing - it sounds like it is as well prepared as warzone
