I love how they listen to each other. Walang sapawan. May time ang bawat isa to talk. Love these two women talaga. It’s my weekly habit na to listen to them. ❤❤❤❤
Agree. Ito ang ayaw ko kay Alex Gonzaga. Hindi pa tapos yong sagot sa tanong nya tini-take over or inu-over lap nya na yong time na dapat para sa kausap nya or ini-interview nya. Masyado syang hyper or full of energy inappropriately. parang arrogant na or rude na yong dinidisplay nyang image sa vlog nya and with that i lose interest on her. minsang umaabot sya sa point na parang walang syang delekadesa when it comes to proper conversation to people.
I'm 23 and pursued bachelor's education in South Korea and now am pursuing a professional job. I really can relate when Cat said "Whatever you study, you're meant to get a job in and it all goes linear, but it doesn't work that way." 6 years as an expat and the stakes are very competitive, especially in an economically fast-growing country in an unbelievably fast scale. But I think that is what makes me stand out as a foreigner in a heterogenous environment. I learned to embrace my difference and use that difference to blend in an unknown society. One thing that I have learned is you'll eventually find your path as long as your heart desires you to. A very cliche saying but I think it really bears fruit. Now I'm earning my own money through a job which is actually related to my major but not really what I dreamed for myself. Its so relatable when they said that you really have to invest something for yourself, pursue and take that risk. It's better to try than regretting not being able to put an effort. Thank you for this! I really appreciate listening to your inspiring stories! More to come please :)
I badly needed this! As a fresh graduate, I am currently in that phase where I'm still trying to navigate where I am going. I feel like something is trying to call me but I just don't know what it is. The confusion of entering the real world having that pressure to seek for that specific perfect job took a toll on me plus being away from family is scary, it's still so new to me, so foreign. This episode is so insightful! I love this! Thank you for this Cat and Nicole!❤
This is a fantastic podcast! I hope they include episodes on interesting topics beyond just their personal stories. These brilliant women have the wisdom that the world truly needs.
Sana magkaroon dn Sila NG interesting guests nkikita no na magaling Sila maginterview at magbigay NG point of views nila. Also praying na si cat magkaroon NG sarili nyang show since Nicole is financially secured na
Definitely relate to the “Dragonesa” vibe of Nicole during her corporate era. Not to mention the rollercoaster ride of politics going on any companies. Haha! Still in the corporate world though because I love my job! Sometimes we just learn the hard way. At the end of the day, every phase brought so many lessons. ✨
I’ve been a silent fan of both of you as I watched your popularity grow since 2016…this is great for newcomers and for fans like us to just get to know you more…as a business owner myself …this part 3 is so true on odd jobs struggles and victories …thank you for engaging with each other and sharing your journey
As someone who just graduated in college and currently experiencing the risks and survival of getting a job, this definitely is a whole book of advice and learnings! Thank you for sharing your paths and stories. Love you both ❤❤
I needed to hear all these and I'm even happier to hear from Cat. I'm going through functional freeze at 33 and I don't know which way to go. I couldn't agree more with Nicole on having that safety net if anything goes wrong and Cat saying "redirected not denied". If anyone going thru midlife or identity crisis, this is a must watch
such a life-trained ladies! After watching this video, I realized na kahit may degree ka o wala, basta madiskarte at resilient ka, nothing is impossible. koooodoooss to you cat and nicole!!!
As a 28 year old lady who obtained a post grad degree, and currently looking for my first employment, this episode is an eye-opener. I always see my colleagues having the best days of their life after finishing and passing the board exam while I felt like I am already left behind. But then those I see on ig or facebook are just the glamorous, selected pictures. There are hardship behind, there are struggles to achieve those. Listening from Nicole and Cat whom I really admire and follow ever since I got my eyes into pageantry, that they also have a fair share of struggle. And so everyone else. I feel like I received a pat in the back after watching this, to just continue and that it is normal to sometimes feel negativity.
Speak straight from the heart and share a personal exprienced. It hit many of us, at the same time you learn from them realized that every one had this misconception about what we gone through. Behind every failure leads to become sucessful indeed.
Listening to it while working. This is so refreshing! You really get to realize a lot and somehow ignite that fire in you even more, to never be afraid to go where your heart tells you to be.
Wow I never thought that I would relate to Catriona in a deeper level, I thought she had it easy in life, to hear a woman so successful right now share her struggles gave me hope that someday I will also become successful like her, I’ll embrace this placeholder job for the mean time as I am currently in a survival phase, and prepare myself for my dream job. ❤ thank you Cat and Nicole, more stories like this please!
there is a difference if youre a breadwinner. we dont explore and dont any other choice because ourselves are the only back up. I hope I was able to weigh my options and plan ahead whats best for me.
thank you for sharing your journey after college. As a graduating student, I could gain many tips and lesson to learn from this podcast. More topics from these 2 beautiful queens pleaseee
I just came from a teaching position in a private school. A blessing came so I was able to resign and pursue another dream of mine. I can relate to Nicole's sharing where there are people in the office that you just don't want to see. In my case it was the murmurers and toxic chismosas. If I had no choice I would've endured that situation so that I can gain experience and provide for my daily needs. Sadly, the old saying is true "In every forest there's a snake." Its a reality that I'm slowly beginning to accept. Hopefully, in my next job I'll be miles away from the snake that sleuths in the forest.
In a way it gave me the idea how their industry works na hindi pla lahat glamorous including the pay isn’t that huge. I understand their fear etc… very enlightening. Sana lng may mga inserts like clips, pictures etc.just so mas maiintindihan at mafe-feel tlga ng mga viewers specially kung mtagal n ngyari…
I really love watching your podcast. As someone who wants to improve my English fluency, I get to learn new words out of your conversation. I also love the energy that you're giving to your viewers. More podcasts to come.
Got to nod, smile and even do sa slow clap with things you two say in this episode. I sooo agree and been there, done that. But what resonated most for me are 1) the no regrets from cat and 2) the safety net from nicole. Love it ladies!!! On for more!!
Authentic, relevant and relatable kau sa Corporate beacuse you both are both Sincere and True.. Thank you Cat and Nicole, the perspective you shared sa corporate angle, college and family life, and the lesson on grit is what inspired me. 2 Steps Backw, indeed! Wathcing and Listening to you is an opportunity for like minded folks to take 2 steps and relect too.. More power gurls!!
Super love this talk! Thank you Cat and Nicole! ❤❤ I gained so much insight about trying different things and if it works out parang divine intervention siya as Cat said. And from Nicole, expecting responses of jobs but not producing anything naman. So much wisdom and reflection! 🥰
Grabe din pala pinag daanan ni Cat. I mean we all thought na sobrang privilege nya, kaya pala iba siya mag talk because of the wisdom n nakuha nya from the past
