OK am I the only person who didn't get a whole anaesthesia when she had her wisdom teeth removed!? I could even go to the grocery store on my walk home alone and I was fine! This is of course a comedy series, but I've heard of many who got the whole narcosis program of course feeling like Bob Marley in his best days afterwards.
I’m from Switzerland and I got some anesthesia shots in my gum and that was it. Every time I went home normally and was not drugged. I don’t know how much drug dentists give in America but all the videos I found are from Americans... I guess it depends on the country or something. Or are you American too?
In Italy it's the same. Anesthesia is light here so we are perfectly conscious and sober after removing a tooth. But I've seen other American shows portraing drugged patients as well, so I think it's their own medical procedure.

Why would you want to be awake for that
In Czech republic you get one injection to the gum and thats all. It takes 5 minutes and you can go back to work. 🙂
