The hellwalker is a much better option (outside of very specific explosives builds) than Flakker I think. This is especially true for Fl4K, with crits return ammo, as every pellet counts as an individual crit, meaning you're basically guaranteed to return ammo with it. It's always fire element however, but still hits like a freaking truck. Hellwalker also spreads all of its crit projectiles to nearby enemies. Can be found more often by Road Dog in the Splinterlands which is a Rare Enemy.

Everything can world drop except exclusive gear that's tied to expecific enemies. Mayhem doesn't change dedicated drops, it only increase the chance of world drops and annointments. Rare spawn/ bosses have a flat % to drop their dedicated drops, but if it has multiple dedicated drops all of them share that %, meaning that if it has 10% chance of droping dedicated drops and it has 3 dedicated drop in that loot pool, you only have like 3% of getting what you want even worst if you want expecific annointment on it.
Flakker red flavour text is a reference to two things. Flak being a German anti-aircraft defense which caused high velocity projectiles to explode in a cluster (as the weapon does ) and the second part being a reference to battlestar galactica "frak the *world*"
What I Love about borderlands is the red quotes they have per every legendary weapon and some of the other rarity weapons. It does a great job to give every gun a identity and gives it its own type of uniqueness and some of the crazy meanings behind the reference is so cool! Definitely one of my favorite things about this game !

The drop rates and spawn rates are ridiculous, still better off farming easy bosses for world drops until they fix it imo. GB needs to at least pick a few rare spawns a week and give them 100% spawn chance rotating them in and out. Good vid tho
Zach F the drop rates are fine, the rare spawns not so. If the spawns wasn’t rare we would be able to farm them bosses more frequently. As the other bosses that aren’t rare, I tend to get their legendaries quite fast.
Agree with you. Is ridiculous that rare spawn/ bosses have loot that share the same chance inside the 10% drop chance. If they have 3 items tied to them is only a 3% chance to drop.
I just want to say that honestly if you want the Maggie or something like that then just farm graveward. The chance for a dedicated loot drop for any boss is way to low and you are best to farming graveward for it.

I dont know what triggers it but my same gun will show X3 next to the damage sometimes and other times just the regular damage. Any ideas on what triggers this? Is it just a visual bug? Time of day? This is what the night hawkin does: During the day, every bullet will deal cryo damage based on the damage numbers presented on the weapon card. At night however, every shot will shoot three bullets that deal increased fire damage. This is how every variant of every night hawkin works. It doesn’t matter if you get one to drop during the day, or at night. It will always do 1x base cryo damage during day, and 3x amped fire damage during night. I mean it kinda makes sense for the gun to work this way, considering it’s called night hawkin. PS: you wanna get one with burst fire because it fires extremely fast in burst fire mode. Also I don’t know if the guy in the video is right about demmoskaggen dropping the night hawkin, so try the second option.

Does the Brainstormer proc the chain lightning effect based on the pellet? I mean, does it increase the amount of chain lightning the more pellet? I don’t think it does. I think the regular (cash infused) is much better, due to the fact you’ll have more shots with it. The main damage source on this gun is the chain lightning right? Please enlighten me.

I keep watching these videos trying to find a legendary I haven't found worth using, but I have every gun/shield in the video. Think it's time I take a break from borderlands until DLC1 haha.
You kind of over simplify the Face Puncher .. The weapon fires whatever melee benefit you get no matter what it is .. So if you are using the Elephant artifact you get Sticky bombs attatched to enemies and if you use the one with the flavor text "Shock me like an electric eel" you get shock that jumps to nearby enemies ..
When farming the night hawkin and waiting for the symbol to spawn in the sky, he says reload the game until it spawns. By reload does he me go to sanctuary then come back, completely quit the game and automatically spawn back in the Carnivora thing, or go to sanctuary quit the game then go back to Carnivora

I was farming the guy for Stormfront on Mayhem 3 and after 3 times of killing him and quitting out then reloading he stopped dropping lot at all. Did they change something?
I don't know if I'm just built or using it wrong, but I get absolutely no use out of the Crossroads. It just does...nothing when I use it. It does alright on Mayhem 0 and 1 but the moment I bump up higher than that, 0 damage. I have no clue why.
When I farmed the Warden in the Anvil, he dropped 15 Face Punchers in about 30-40 runs... pretty much the only thing he consistently dropped. This was pre-patch tho but might be worth a try?
For the 1st entry. Dont die. Get in a corner near the exit. Glitching Queen made a vid on it for loot ghost farm I think. It despawns enemies. You still need to leave at least one enemy alive Crossroad's red text brings to mind a deal with the devil. Or with crossroads demon like in supernatural. And i dont think flak the world means anything more than the other f word "flak" replaces. That huge splash damage relays the message rather well. Guess in mayhem 4 without moze or fl4k crits the flakker shots feel more of a gentle harmless lightshow than carpet nuking anihilation so the red text doesn't translate as well. Still. One of my most favorite weapons. Dictator is a close second. I just like the dynamic play style of running and jumping around like a mad man just to stop every now and then and unload ridiculous amount of bullets into enemies faces. Freezing one works wonders on mobs if you can get close enough without dying.
I suggest doing a quest at the jacobs estate it should be first one you see the grenade did over 500 damage at me being at level 20 so in my opinion its a good grenade for quite awhile its also a fungi corrosive damage so it sticks to your enemy's
is the maggie really good from the ones ive gotten they only last maybe 2 levels then it isnt that good even max level ive had no luck with the gun personally for me its one of my least favorite guns because it isnt that effective for me
So, if a weapon has under the damage stat something like 100x3, that means that each 1 ammo spawns 3 shots that can damage for 100 damage. Then if a weapon says, Consumes X ammo per shot, that is a modifier on top of that?
five21 yep. Projectile count is the number of bullets leaving the barrel when you pull the trigger. Ammo consuption is the number of bullets being taken from the magazine. But redtexts or skills can also act has modifiers.
I have a level 4 dastardly Maggie from my first play through I don't remember where it dropped from but I think it was from a chubby skag but it's so good. Everytime I do a new play through I equip once I get to level 4 and it carries me to around level 16
If i could suggest to structure video a bit differently. Watching this you tell items name and where to find it and then more about that item, but if i decided i want that item i have to go back to see where it drops from. Would be easier to watch if you tell us item name and more about it and then lastly where to find it.
today is 2020-04-13 and so far i have gotten the maggie, lyuda, multiple brainstormers, multiple stormfronts, multiple crossroads in all elements and flakker as world drops lvl 57, progressing through tvhm...
So, my assumption on the Flakker's red text is that it is a reference to the phrase F**k the World or F.T.W. which was coined by the Hell's Angels, a motorcycle gang. The fact that the weapon is manufactured by Torgue lends credence to this in my opinion since Mr. Torgue was also the leader of a motorcycle gang called Torgue's Competitors in borderlands 2.
Lyudmila Pavlichenko is the person the Lyuda is named after. She holds the record for most confirmed kills among female snipers, over 300. So i'd assume the red text man killer is just an ode to her insane ability to kill.
Actually you don't even have to do that! If you just fast travel to the start of the area it'll be like dying but you won't have to restart the challenge...I should know cause there's a annoying varkid that keeps flying so far outta bounds it despawns which renders the challenge as ongoing still 🤣

I think Crossroads is a reference to the old myth about selling your soul to the devil. Like in the legend of Robert Johnson. The story goes that you walk down to the Crossroads at twilight and sell your soul in exchange for some great ability or power. So the "open the gates" flavor text means thw gates of hell, as in we took the deal for the gun.
"Open the gate for me" is a reference to voodoo magics and such, in which ceremonies will begin with or contain these words to open the "crossroads" for spirits to pass between worlds.
Get a tediore gun that homes in on nearby enemies when you reload, that or if you're playing Zane, make sure your drone has the corrosive and electrical damage on. It will take a while tho

After more than 100 rounds of gigamind yesterday and today i got 4 lyudas (2 anointed) , 1 maggie, 3 Rowan's call (1 anointed) , 4 Lucian's call (1 anointed), 5 Flakker (3 anointed), 1 crossroad, 4 or 5 night hawking , 8 hellshock (3 anointed) and on and on. I have a list of all the weapons that drop, and i can say, you don't need to go to those bosses. Just farm gigamind which is very very easy in Mayhem 3 + drop and you will get it all. ahh....also, a huge amount of grenades, Firestorm, Epicenter, fasball, hex, MIRV-hex, Quasar (anointed) , nagata, surge, Red queen, etc. All of this in Gigamind. soo........yes.... farm gigamind.
BTW, Lyuda refers I believe to a WW2 Russian female sniper. Originally it was meant to refer to Simo Hayha a Finnish sniper in WW2 who had a kill amount only to be marveled at.

Spent a few hours farming for Hex on Mayhem 3, but never got a good variant. Haven't noticed that much of a difference in drop rates/quality from Mayhem 1, but figure as long as it's not taking forever to do a farm run on Mayhem 3, it's best to farm on the highest Mayhem possible?
Yeah, you can farm on mayhem 4. You need a really synergistic build. I use a crit/rad Fl4k build with a red fang class mod. Your pet takes the agro, and as long as your hitting enemies, the pet won't die when you gamma burst him in the middle of a mob
@@itsj0hnnypr Yeah that's what I seem to be understanding. Won't change quality or rate of dedicated drops (except for anointments). It only increases world drop rates from badass and other enemies. Dedicated drops seem to be pegged at 10% drop rate. I wish Gearbox would make this clearer.

God I screamed into an abyss when I found out Mayhem had no effect after trying to get a hex on mayhem 3 assuming mayhem also boosted dedicated drops.

Tried farming the facepuncher for ages, didn't get it to drop from Jackie, bad rng...then I promptly found it in a fridges on Athenas...😐
Borderlands 3 RNG in a nutshell
When I farmed the Warden in the Anvil, he dropped 15 Face Punchers in about 30-40 runs... pretty much the only thing he consistently dropped. This was pre-patch tho but might be worth a try?
For the 1st entry. Dont die. Get in a corner near the exit. Glitching Queen made a vid on it for loot ghost farm I think. It despawns enemies. You still need to leave at least one enemy alive
Crossroad's red text brings to mind a deal with the devil. Or with crossroads demon like in supernatural.
And i dont think flak the world means anything more than the other f word "flak" replaces. That huge splash damage relays the message rather well. Guess in mayhem 4 without moze or fl4k crits the flakker shots feel more of a gentle harmless lightshow than carpet nuking anihilation so the red text doesn't translate as well. Still. One of my most favorite weapons. Dictator is a close second. I just like the dynamic play style of running and jumping around like a mad man just to stop every now and then and unload ridiculous amount of bullets into enemies faces. Freezing one works wonders on mobs if you can get close enough without dying.

I suggest doing a quest at the jacobs estate it should be first one you see the grenade did over 500 damage at me being at level 20 so in my opinion its a good grenade for quite awhile its also a fungi corrosive damage so it sticks to your enemy's
is the maggie really good from the ones ive gotten they only last maybe 2 levels then it isnt that good even max level ive had no luck with the gun personally for me its one of my least favorite guns because it isnt that effective for me
So, if a weapon has under the damage stat something like 100x3, that means that each 1 ammo spawns 3 shots that can damage for 100 damage. Then if a weapon says, Consumes X ammo per shot, that is a modifier on top of that?

Projectile count is the number of bullets leaving the barrel when you pull the trigger.
Ammo consuption is the number of bullets being taken from the magazine.
But redtexts or skills can also act has modifiers.

I have a level 4 dastardly Maggie from my first play through I don't remember where it dropped from but I think it was from a chubby skag but it's so good. Everytime I do a new play through I equip once I get to level 4 and it carries me to around level 16

If i could suggest to structure video a bit differently. Watching this you tell items name and where to find it and then more about that item, but if i decided i want that item i have to go back to see where it drops from.

today is 2020-04-13 and so far i have gotten the maggie, lyuda, multiple brainstormers, multiple stormfronts, multiple crossroads in all elements and flakker as world drops lvl 57, progressing through tvhm...
So, my assumption on the Flakker's red text is that it is a reference to the phrase F**k the World or F.T.W. which was coined by the Hell's Angels, a motorcycle gang. The fact that the weapon is manufactured by Torgue lends credence to this in my opinion since Mr. Torgue was also the leader of a motorcycle gang called Torgue's Competitors in borderlands 2.
Lyudmila Pavlichenko is the person the Lyuda is named after. She holds the record for most confirmed kills among female snipers, over 300. So i'd assume the red text man killer is just an ode to her insane ability to kill.

You dont have to die in the cistern of slaughter. There is a spot in the far left that de-activates the challenge
Actually you don't even have to do that! If you just fast travel to the start of the area it'll be like dying but you won't have to restart the challenge...I should know cause there's a annoying varkid that keeps flying so far outta bounds it despawns which renders the challenge as ongoing still 🤣

I think the crossroad reference is referring to the famed myth that you can summon demons at a crossroads as long as you do the ritual correctly
I got the stop gap and stormfront off killavolt, as well as the 9 volt and AAA, I would think he has a higher chance to drop shock based items.
Got stop gap from him too but that's just a world drop. His loot pool is "The Transformer" the 9 volt and the AAA

I think Crossroads is a reference to the old myth about selling your soul to the devil. Like in the legend of Robert Johnson. The story goes that you walk down to the Crossroads at twilight and sell your soul in exchange for some great ability or power. So the "open the gates" flavor text means thw gates of hell, as in we took the deal for the gun.
"Open the gate for me" is a reference to voodoo magics and such, in which ceremonies will begin with or contain these words to open the "crossroads" for spirits to pass between worlds.
The crossroad smg red text i think is a reference for the gate in ascension bluff. Idk
I also think it could be in reference to Monte Python and the Holy Grail.. at the crossroads with the black knight

Get a tediore gun that homes in on nearby enemies when you reload, that or if you're playing Zane, make sure your drone has the corrosive and electrical damage on. It will take a while tho
You can obtain the Maggie as reward when you finish the game too
(And I got two Maggie's when I finished the game)

I love how I get a legendary so early and it's on this list and now I have to get it later because it's so good and my fav element is ice so it works out
Crossroad is a (potentially) reference to Pacific rim with the crossroad being the gate between worlds and the rim operator says to open the gate for me to destroy the other side of the gate with his suits self destruct

After more than 100 rounds of gigamind yesterday and today i got 4 lyudas (2 anointed) , 1 maggie, 3 Rowan's call (1 anointed) , 4 Lucian's call (1 anointed), 5 Flakker (3 anointed), 1 crossroad, 4 or 5 night hawking , 8 hellshock (3 anointed) and on and on. I have a list of all the weapons that drop, and i can say, you don't need to go to those bosses. Just farm gigamind which is very very easy in Mayhem 3 + drop and you will get it all. ahh....also, a huge amount of grenades, Firestorm, Epicenter, fasball, hex, MIRV-hex, Quasar (anointed) , nagata, surge, Red queen, etc. All of this in Gigamind. soo........yes.... farm gigamind.
Idk if anyone else commented this but all of these are still world drops as well as the dedicated enemies you mentioned as well
You can get the Maggie from graveward’s vault and I gotten 2 of them so far.

BTW, Lyuda refers I believe to a WW2 Russian female sniper. Originally it was meant to refer to Simo Hayha a Finnish sniper in WW2 who had a kill amount only to be marveled at.

Spent a few hours farming for Hex on Mayhem 3, but never got a good variant. Haven't noticed that much of a difference in drop rates/quality from Mayhem 1, but figure as long as it's not taking forever to do a farm run on Mayhem 3, it's best to farm on the highest Mayhem possible?
Yeah, you can farm on mayhem 4. You need a really synergistic build. I use a crit/rad Fl4k build with a red fang class mod. Your pet takes the agro, and as long as your hitting enemies, the pet won't die when you gamma burst him in the middle of a mob
Mayhem doesn't change the drop chances of dedicated drops. Mayhem only increases the chances of getting world drops an annointments
@@itsj0hnnypr Yeah that's what I seem to be understanding. Won't change quality or rate of dedicated drops (except for anointments). It only increases world drop rates from badass and other enemies. Dedicated drops seem to be pegged at 10% drop rate. I wish Gearbox would make this clearer.

I have tried dozens and dozens of times not one Legendary on Mayhem 3 from Skybully's, I guess really unlucky there.
Still no legendary's of any kind.
