I just happened upon this it was in my feed. PRAISE GOD THAT I DID!! I'm retired director of choirs at my church in Austin, Texas. I know some old one hundreds but I've never heard of that opening song before but it blessed my heart ❤ just like that anointed prayer. My mom was a minister. She was at many a family house prayer n singing like this. Dorothy Lee is no longer with me but she is singing with the saints. I sure miss all the time we spent in Memphis Tennessee. This brought me back. Thank you Brother Neely.
Crying like a baby! This bought so many memories of my family gatherings. We couldn't sing like this but we gave it what we had and it was a great time. When the elders of the family passed we grew further and further apart. This right here did my heart good! You all can SANG too! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! This was awesome!

Nelly could really sing and you all as well,I know he has been gone some time now ,I just saw this video, belated prayers and heartfelt condolences still ,but Rev.Nelly has fought a good fight and he has kept the faith ,and he has finished his course ,now laid of for him is a Crown of righteousness, which the righteous judge shall give him in that day and not to him only but unto all those whom love His appearance! I was reared up in type of worship ,I have been preaching since I was a child ,now I'm 67 years old and I to am getting there ,I have been pastoring over 5 decades and have been a Grief counselor about 20 yrs ,and I know things changes but God and His word never changes and it remains the same ,the younger generation, (Pastors, Ministers and Churches doesn't worship much like this today ) oh,how I miss those days of singing, praying ,and worshipping, (they call it old school praying and singing out of Hymn books) but back in the day you opened your mouth ,threw your head back and sang with the spirit ,even young preacher of today mostly teaches and that's wonderful but they do very little preaching ,if any at all,I know I would have love to have met your father,I know it would have been a blessing, just to listen to his wisdom and to hear the Old Warrior of the Cross preach the word, Your family is really truly blessed He isn'tdead he's only asleep ,resting from his labour ! I was fired from my job yesterday Friday, I lost a very close friend to Covid on Monday and today Saturday i sit at a grave site to support another friend as he lays to rest his beloved Mother. 100% agreed!!! The very foundation of our Spirituality comes from those that's be tried in the fire, been through the flood and through Jesus's Blood. I heard recently that if you want to know how to sing under the anointing, go to a Black church; If you want to know to pray, go to a Black church. True!!! My mentoring comes from those that feel, sing, preach and pray the anointing down. God richly bless this family and never let loose of these times and values. Truly a blessing! I was fired from my job yesterday Friday, I lost a very close friend to Covid on Monday and today Saturday i sit at a grave site to support another friend as he lays to rest his beloved Mother. And yet as I listen to this my soul soars with our ancestors.

Mother Sallie Adam's was front Jersey City..recently passed away October 2020...I believe she was 99yrs old
I just had emergency surgery and was released 3 days ago , I'm so glad I ran into this video cause it made me feel the present of God come all over me ! 100% agreed!!! The very foundation of our Spirituality comes from those that's be tried in the fire, been through the flood and through Jesus's Blood. I heard recently that if you want to know how to sing under the anointing, go to a Black church; If you want to know to pray, go to a Black church. True!!! My mentoring comes from those that feel, sing, preach and pray the anointing down. God richly bless this family and never let loose of these times and values. One day soon we're going to a meeting and leaving this troubled world behind and meet this Jesus we worship and sing Praises to!!! You've blest me today.. !!!!!!!!
