Bamboo - A fast-growing wonder plant with amazing applications

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants that does not incur any recurring expenditures on irrigation, fertilizers, weedicides and pesticides. Harvesting can start from the fifth year and an average income of ₹ 1 lakh can be expected from one acre of bamboo plantation from the 3rd year onwards for a period of 30 to 40 years. Besides, bamboo cultivation yields huge environmental benefits. Bamboo can replace wood for applications like paper manufacturing, flooring, furniture, charcoal, etc.
Dr. N Barathi, an agricultural scientist is a pioneer in plant tissue culture with over 37 years of experience in agriculture and propagation of plants by using tissue culture. He has researched and developed a fast-growing variety with high yield called "Beema Bamboo". It can grow in the field for more than 100 years with no need for replanting.

Growmore Bio tech -CNG is less polluting the environment than other popular fuel such as Petrol and Diesel. Bamboo is convertible into bio-gas which can be processed into Bio-CNG.
8kg. of Bamboo Biomass will produce 1 kg. of CNG. But in this video it said 4 kg of bamboo can produce 1 kg CNG so what is correct. Further would like to Know it is dry weight or Wet weight of bamboo.
