I am working in PSU Bank. And I know the pressure on Branches and regional offices. The DFS and Finance ministry has made it a business. every day Targets from selling credit card, gold loan etc further recovery targets moreover daily VC and data compilation... it's very frustrating you have to do number of things in the same day and every work is important. further due to union politics you are not sure when they will transfer you.
Im a cashier..and at 2 when l stand to have lunch break..people misbehave in best way possible... By the time l reach for having lunch ..its already 2:10 almost.. and to sit back at 2:30 ..l need to get up at 2:29 atleast... I didn't expect divyakirti sir to have so less knowledge about the pressure in nationalised bank .. Rarely l can leave iffice at 6 ..being a clerk.. dont know what world they are in...

It may feel fascinating until you aren't there. Within 1 or 2 years you will start feeling suffocation. There's so much shortage of staff that in RRBs numerous branches are limited to only two staffs where there are 25k account holders. Cash transactions are a mandatory thing which requires one person at minimum and two also at times and every day there's a new campaign. With two employees at one branch managing cash transactions along with daily campaigns, miscellaneous things etc becomes mind boggling. Under such pressure one feels like quitting no matter how handsome the salary is. There are things which can motivate people to work better even after such pressure is postings near their homes. Atleast at end of day they can feel relieved while being with family but unfortunately even this isn't possible. Everyone tells me that it isn't easy to get a job and I shouldn't quit but it isn't tolerable anymore. Better quit something if it takes you towards unstable mental health.

Trust me when i say that i have never taken a 30 min lunch break for last 2 yrs of my life as Bank AM . Mostly it is 12- 15 min. What he says used to happen some 20 yrs back. But things are genuinely different now. As for repetitive work... What can be more repetitive than teaching😅

Not everyone dream of being a IAS/IPS Officer..I have seen ppl around me.. preparing for civil services from 5+ years and they really lack potential and required effort..! And, people who are working in RBI , NABARD, SEBI, EXIM,..etc r also bankers..✌️ It's better to be employed after a certain period of time rather than wasting years n years on preparation of civil services exams ! Continue only when you think u r very close to crack it, n u r consistent n work really hard . Couldn't agree with what sir is saying here. After few years every work seems monotonous but still a lot of us learn to enjoy our work n get habitual to it.

Adhe ghnate ka lunch time hota wo bhi kabhi kabhi kab 2 bje se 2:10 ho jata hai pata nai chalta fir 15-20 minute me jaise taise lunch kar k wapas kampar lag jao..non stop pani tak pine ki fursat nai hoti.
