Another great BluJay build! He didn't fall in lava, his project box wasn't blown up by a ghast (unlike some youtubers lol) and he's built a bartering farm which provides great quantities of useful item. Well done Blu!
That's quite the extensive setup! My bartering farm uses the moving gold block mechanic to barter at ludicrous speed. The piglins each chew through a stack of gold ingots in seconds. Keep the videos coming!
@@diveaker412, my world got corrupted so I recently had to start over. I'll have to check this out. I've got the piglins nametagged and waiting. The only thing I really look for is a Soul Speed III book, so it's OK if it doesn't work anymore. 🤷♂️
Great Video Blue! A lot less messy than the old design! So, the hoppers are working as intended, the top hopper will pull in the stack of items and the hopper below that will only pull one item as a time, so since there are still items in the hopper they will get pushed into the chest since they aren't pulled out fast enough.
I liked your hoper dropper control system, I’ve just built a trading area for nine piglins and repeater delay which distributes exactly 18 gold bars evenly and then it’s a manual button to activate.
It’s looking great Blu. I can’t wait to watch the journey! As for learning something, I learn something new every time you do red stone. P.S. love those floating trees!! 😂💙
@@skyens8626 the one I noticed the easiest was the 2x2 jungle tree, you can see it a couple of times, if you know what to look for. The jungle vines make a great cover. 🤣😂
The hoppers aren't bugged Blujay. Your top hoppers are picking up the whole stack dropped by the piglins while also pointing into chests. While the hopper below only can pull one item at a time, the origial hopper still has items in it to push into the chest. If the top layer of hoppers faced into nothing and could only be pulled from by the one below, items would flow like you expected.
This works great!!! Just finished building it on my world, but with only 3 modules. Figured i'd start with only 3 as i can add more modules if need be. Was going to build a zero tick looking one that uses the sticky piston and gold ore/block. but opted this for design as Blujay did a marvelous job explaining how this system works.10/10 will build in future worlds from now on. MY new go-to bartering system.
Great tutorial! Like the compact farm design! Amazing that you figured out the timing to release the gold! Keep up the great content! Hope you are having a fantastic day! Take care.
So you can move the redstone line behind droppers ahead by one block and use Target blocks instead of solid blocks and use observer to read redstone block instead of comparator. Saves on repeater😅.
I don't know how far you had to go for the piglins, looked like a long distance, but I've usually laid rail all the way out to them, so I only have to lure them a short distance and into a cart or boat.
instead of putting a red stone block to turn off the gold farm use a lever it works the same or you will have to dismantle the red stone block every time you want to use the farm and put back the red stone block when you want to turn it off
Out 9f curiosity, can you name tag a pigpin and bring it into the overworked and it not transform? I don't know piglin lingo very well. Also, instead of 2 pistons for the hopper clock, could you use one sticky piston or will that not work?
if you want to go all out along with the 11 gold ingots he placed in the hoppers clock try giving all piglins full set of gold armor for kicks I did that look way cool
put a block below the red stone block that turns off the farm break the red stone block and put a lever on the block you placed under the red stone block and add a lever to it then you save room in your bag from holding a red stone block that you would have to do to turn it off when done as he stated in video to turn off farm the lever will turn on and off farm no need for a red stone block it way better with just a block and lever and save room in your personal bag space
Is the instant barter via moving a gold block/ore with piston already fixed? Haven't played in a while. With a clock, even a single piglin barters an insane amount of items in a short period of time
That mechanic is still in the game. But for a farm that you can just load and leave, and didn't have to babysit to keep up with sorting, this looks like a much better design
Unfortunately the bartering farm has to be built in the nether and the gold farm can only be built in the Overworld to be able to work. If you know of a way to transport the gold from overworld to nether then it could be possible but I don’t know if this could be done as I’ve not seen anything about this for bedrock myself? Another note would be that you’d have to send the gold from the farm quite a distance as you need to build the gold farm portals far enough away from your nether portal to avoid them linking to it.
@Adjum84 this isn’t entirely true. Portal ticking gold farms can only be done in the overworld. There are Nether gold farm designs, but they are not as efficient, or easy to build compared to Javas.

I'm a simple man. I see BluJay vid- I give it a thumbs up!
I love this one, mostly for its simplicity, but also for the redstone tips.
Piglin luring at its finest. I've used the same method before. 😆 so much more exhilarating!

Fortune that gold ore, don't smelt it! 🤣 Awesome video as always
Actually fortuning the nether ore only nets an average of 8.8 nuggets which is less than the ingot you get from smelting it.

was just looking for an upgrade from the usual bartering system.
Have always wanted to build one of these. Prowl never got around to it.
Hi blue, i saw on hermitcraft a piglin farm combined with barter farm. Think such a thing can be made on bedrock?
No, because gold farms on Bedrock are typically in the overworld. Piglins turn into Zombified Piglins in the overworld in a span of 20 seconds.
Did you know you can make the piglins instantly drop the bartered items by destroying or just updating any gold block?
how big is the place? didn't see anywhere how much you dig to create the room
put a block below the red stone block that turns off the farm break the red stone block and put a lever on the block you placed under the red stone block and add a lever to it then you save room in your bag from holding a red stone block that you would have to do to turn it off when done as he stated in video to turn off farm the lever will turn on and off farm no need for a red stone block it way better with just a block and lever and save room in your personal bag space

Y don’t you use the bedrock feature of when you push a gold block with a piston they instant trade
A lot of people can't figure out a good storage for that

hard to say. i would double check that you built it correctly, set all the repeater timings correctly, etc.
