Made this a while ago and posted it to my tumblr and community post, but I thought why not post it as an actual video for easy access? 👀

Omori already has an enemy dodge mechanic built in, it’s already four parallel universes ahead of you

When the enemies are angry, theyre more likely to fight instead of pacifying, susie shows her purple-yellow eye from ch1 after chaos Kings battle when she saves kris, ralsei's skin is slightly darker and his eyes arent visible (like his textbox face sprite before explaining the roaring in the pacifist route) and kris shows their edgy eye.
Happy makes them more likely to use pacify. Kris shows a smile and the others naturally look happier.
Sad makes susie try to attack more, while ralsei keeps trying to spare, kris remains the same.
Afraid makes them use more damaging spells (like rude buster or x-slash)
Charming spells wont affect susie nor kris, but ralsei will.
If the battle ends while one of your friends is toast, after you get exp, you see some text saying "Kris got stronger." like in dr ch2
OOH I LOVE THIS!! Though maybe afraid could depend on the person, like if Susie is afraid, she tends to lash out with more damaging attacks, if Ralsei is afraid, he tends to freeze up in battle or use non-damaging spells, if Kris is afraid, they can only use the default attack and can't use spells (similar to Sunny I guess)

All stat are lowered by 25%

The three stages of tired.
Tired. All stats lowered by 10%, and special attacks cost 25% more
Drowsy. Stats lowered by 20%, and special attacks cost 50% more
Asleep : can't move untill damaged or waken up (either using massage or by being made to feel another emotion)
Spared/Pacified - Removed from the battle
@@ethosarris4064 pacified could be one where, if the tired/asleep friend gets pacified, theyre in a toast-like state except that they didnt actually die, so you use life Jam by uhhh, pouring it into your buddys face so they get unpacified?
@@ethosarris4064 Omori has the 4th: Insomnia, so tired your somehow awake However everything is now amplified by 50% from the original stats but you are the absolute slowest and juice costs 75% more
The tired effect is a really neat concept.
There's so many possibilities for new emotions lol, I think tired in particular could make you more likely to miss attacks, but you have higher defense in exchange. Or replace the high miss chance with being slower instead 👀
@@user-ry4eg2mg2y I think it'd also make sense if you could fall asleep if tired is inflicted twice, which leaves them not doing anything, and you have to give your party members a juice item to wake them back up.
