Seeing Oathsworn getting the love it deserves makes me happy. It truly is worth the price tag and then some for how much it offers. I’m on Chapter 15 now, and I feel like every single boss fight has been a memorable experience with unique gameplay mechanics, strategies, and tactics. I have the standee version since I don’t really collect minis or have space for them, and the standees are so detailed with cool artwork, it does it justice on the table. I play co-op with my gf who really just enjoys doing the story parts with me while I solo the combat encounters. Intuitive companion system makes that super easy. Not to mention, I’ve sunk a total of 60+ hours and have another 30ish hours to go to complete the campaign. Well worth the time and money

The companions! I didn’t even mention that, but what an amazing idea! I’ve seen a few people note that the companions also make Oathsworn playable for their kids which is really sweet. It’s all just really well thought through and clearly a deluxe experience. Thank you, Jamie Jolly!

Not many games scare me, but that one does (I think it scares my table, too-it’s not confident it can handle all that stuff without buckling)… That said, it does look gorgeous and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted!

Ever since the release of death may die. I started painting minis.
And over the years I have gotten much much better. So I enjoy large mini games now because they look epic when painted. Like arons trespass.
I would say the enjoyment of playing the game painted to grey is at least 3x.

One of my biggest goals is figuring out a painting system that is high-quality without being too time-consuming. Right now, every miniature takes, minimum, 8 hours. Like you, I *love* the look of painted minis on the table but, dang! Takes so long!

Just found your channel. Wow, you're funny, I love the editing and characters, and you have great taste in games and can articulate it. Subbed.

No wonder you are"moving." It's just a new home for Neb. Leave the old behind. What a smart guy.

It may be a little cocky to say, but it sure sounds like you’ve got good taste!

CDMD is awesome. I picked season one up at retail, but went all in on season 3 and 4, which I'm anxiously awaiting. I can't speak regarding Oathsworn as I haven't played my copy yet, but I'm very much hoping to do so soon. I did snag just the standee edition for space reasons 😂. I'll say that Nemesis and Rococo Deluxe were worth the $$ for me. I will also admit to pouring waaaay too much into Shadows of Brimstone, which I highly recommend people play, but not necessarily buy unless you find out you love it and can afford to spend a ridiculous amount on expansions (or can just borrow your friend's copy). RIP Ben. Good luck Neb. Always enjoy your content!

I always look forward to hearing your thoughts! I don’t think I went quite all in on CDMD S3 and 4 but I did drop quite a few bucks-hopefully that one fulfills soon!
Nemesis is a great pick that I agree with, it’s an honorable mention for me for sure!
Haven’t played Rococo but hoooooooly crap is it beautiful.
(And oh my goodness do yourself a favor and play Oathsworn the story is really cool and the combat is delightful)

Yeah, I think both ends of the spectrum can be really satisfying. Feels good to play a great game you got for cheap, and it’s also nice to have some more luxurious products sprinkled through a collection!

If you ever do the 1k dollar games.
    Here is my favorite
    Shadows of brimstone.
Of course youlll have games like warhammer 40k and MTG.
But for me the games I have spent over 1k on are
    Shadows of brimstone
    Tanares adventures.
    Stormsunder (not released yet)
    Heroclix.

I think there’s only one game I’ve spent over 1k on (and even then, I’m not sure it quite crosses the threshold): Marvel Crisis Protocol. I’ve watched a few videos on Shadows of Brimstone-it looks really cool!!

Level 7 Omega Protocol is a great game. However, the alien minis are terrible and my advice is to buy the 1st edition cheap and proxy in different minis (I use Chronicle X).
CDMD- I owned season 1 and 2. Painted and played season 1 and then sold it all. 6 months later I bought another copy of season 1 and 2! It is in my collection for good now!?
Oathsworn is amazing. I am on chapter 14, playing solo and intend to play with a group afterwards.

Really good point on the L7 minis-you can easily see mine are all warped and wobbly in the b-roll. I’ve heard that things get straightened out with warm water, but you’re probably much better off just proxy-ing!
