I'm like both. I'm definitely picky about presents. So I warn people, by telling them "I don't like surprises", even though, of course, I'd like it if it was something I wanted. But it's my way of telling them to check in with me, before they end up wasting their money/time. I'd rather not get anything than something I don't want. But a safe bet IS food for me. Particularly ice cream, and pizza.

My mom was the first and second Taurus. She LOVES getting gifts but her view on gifts were jewelery and specific things that she has asked for throughout the year, especially during the Christmas season. Once me and my brothers got that, she was a very happy woman during Christmas, and when we didn't get it right, she would flip saying that we don't know her.
