I think he and Alex Volkanovsky excel at MMA at the same exceptional rate. Alex was playing ragby until his early or mid 20s and then he got into mma and ran straight to the top. This guy was in the French Special Operations, until 2019. Granted he had good Judo training, from age 8 to 16, and is a black belt in Judo, which is why it is so difficult to deal with him in the clinch. But his MMA career still is very short, compared to other elite MMA guys. Anyway, if there's one thing an elite Judo is super good at, it's the clinch, even without a gi/shirt to grab hold of! They simply have better sense of balance, of their own and of their opponent, than all others.

Outside of Dustin, I don't think there has really been anyone in the last couple years that I really was excited to see fight against Justin and had a feeling they could actually put on a good war worth of Gatehje. But I'm there now with Saint-Denis. Anyone that has trained in striking or MMA can clearly see this guy is q problem in the cage. Landing that head kick on Matt who was running AWAY takes so much skill and instinct, perfect timing and distance management and awareness. I don't know if we'll see the fight against Gaethje any time soon because he still has to climb the ladder but damn I hope it happens before Justin slows down

Not counting his fight with elizeu on purpose, as it wasn't his weight category, short notice and guy was juiced to the gills.

Déjà que certains français serait incapable d'associer la fin de la guerre à la bonne date alors imagine pour un Américain qui au niveau de histoire géo à généralement une beaucoup moins bonne éducation que nous. Amazing stuff... great to watch BSD on Ariel Helwani' show... welcome to the show BSD ! what a great new step for him and for France. He so much deserves it ("who dares, wins" 1 RPIMA moto (1St Regiment of Marines Infantery parachutists) ! A father from the foreign legin, 5 years in the special forces at the age of 18 years only. Imagine the selection at only 18 : selections : day 1 : lot of physical tests with right away elimination incl. a timed test run of 8km with a bag of 11kg + military boots (2kg) + assault riffle (4.2kg), day 2 : again but a run of 30 km with the same equipment in less than 4 hours... + weeks without sleeping in cold and humidity... Its builds a man with a special mindset. Will be tough to be stopped because of his mindset intensity and the pressure. This guy is always on your face, not giving you time to escape...
