This lesson shows you how to play cajon and bongos at the same time. It is one of my faverout combos with cajon and another percussion instrument.
I will show you how to place the bongos, how to tune them, and also a nice rhythm.

Love the detail you went into with the tuning and stuff. Nice one man. This is innovation. So good!
Absolutely LOVE this dude-pure genius!!!
Walkin past a charity shop in Bangor Paul..lonely set of redwood headliners for a fiver? Scoop! your videos are amazing especially the tuning for beginners. Originally a pipe band bass drummer but arthritis stuffed that..(Army Pipe Band). It’s helping my hands and elbows believe it or not. Many, many thanks.
Awesome! You've got a new sub here. Trying to get into some hand percussion
This is really great, Paul. I hope you have a Happy New Year. Cheers!
This is amazing Paul! Thank you 🙏🏾
Real nice demonstration, thanks for sharing! Can you please tell me what metronome app you're using?
Brilliantly Paul..this is the best Cajon video have seen for a very long time..very nicely thought out groove that works really well at all the tempos.. slow tempo especially good..I can see a sudden upsergence of Cajon players doing this after your video..me included..😁😁😁
Now with the jumbo slaptop cajon no need for bongos 😀👍🤛 all in one and sounds amazing.
What is the name Metronome? I want to use on the phone..thanks for your educational video 👍Greetings from Türkiye and respect

I am a pianist trying to learn percussion. I love the cajon/bongo combo. I am not sure how to ask this in a technically correct way but...I can play the simple right hand cajon groove along with you, demonstrated at 6:15 and 6:50. But that does not seem to be the right hand groove in the rest of the vid, for example at 5:01 and then later when you are at 60, 80 and 100 BPM, turning the last "anticipated" strike into a ghost and a hit. Am I missing something?
You do know that in Latin percussion the left hand if you're a righty, its where you do the clave right? Not the other way its hard but u need your right hand to secos and accents and ur left to keep the rhythm
Just getting started with cajon i ordered LP matador triple percussion what are your thoughts on that cajon
Can you tell me what congo and cajon are you using?
What cajon model is this? Sounds fantastic! Thank you for this great vid!
Hey Semyon! Thanks! This is the LP Mona Tavakoli signature cajon.
@@playcajon Thank you! And what about the bongos? I like their deep sound and can't find anything like that to buy for affordable price. Can you suggest something that will sound not like a piece of paper but also won't be expensive? Thank you!
Saboooor!!!!! Ritmo!! Fabuloso!!
Love it 😉
круто !!!
That metronome knows how to rap.
Heidi Joubert Metronome ;)
