Great video as usual, FYI 4’s are hard to remember, but you should always split them against 5 or 6.

@@henrythemasterful Maybe I could try that next time if I remember
I find most of the time when I hit the 4s I end up with a decent 18 and works out well

@ yeah you’re right it’s hard to want to split up a nice 8, but if double after split is allowed, against 5 or 6 (where dealer has a 43% chance of busting!) technically correct decision is to get more money on the table! Of course totally your decision, but I find that 100% sticking to basic strategy removes a lot of the pain from making tough decisions, you just can tell yourself that it is the correct decision and will make you money over the long run.

When you said that people would be screaming raise your bets you should’ve, when you said that the running count was a +8 with 3 decks left to play in the shoe for a true +2 which calls for and depending on your bankroll for 2 hands of $200 per spot, you should learn how to count and by the way the mistake you made at the beginning with the pair of 4’s against the 6 was bad, you would’ve had 2 double downs after the split and would’ve won, also a 3 card soft 18 againstt a 10 is also a hit and you would’ve also won that hand.

@@KryptoJedi Learning to count and keeping track as I play seems like a lot of work
Most casinos have those automatic shufflers and pit bosses who watch for counters and are very quick to back them off from a table
I was at the casino recently filming a slot session and I was told anything I win will not be paid out because I was filming witch made no sense
Another RUclipsr films regularly at the same casino and I was told their bets are for advertising mostly and his payouts are void because he is a content creator
Makes you question if the casino staff make up their own rules as they go

@@blackjackandmore6774 that’s shitty of that casino to tell you they weren’t gonna pay you! I think you mentioned youre from Canada, I hope the gambling commission there protects you from bully casinos like that!

@@blackjackandmore6774 I’d figured that those casinos were not allowing streamers to play real money, they’re not stupid and hate winning players. That’s the more reason to learn to count and beat the game, take their money, get kicked out and move on. There’s over 3,500 casinos in the US alone so you will never run out of places to play. Honestly playing black jack with perfect basic strategy is still not enough, still makes you a loosing player over time. Now if you’re playing it just for fun and don’t care to lose money then I guess that’s fine but I’m pretty sure most people that play at a casino is with the intentions of making some type of money. When I play I use no cover, I go from $25 to 2 hands of $1,000 if the count is there, I don’t care if they kick me out or not, I just move on to the next one and rinse and repeat 😁
