I don't even ride motorbikes but I am thrilled by Royal Enfield's successes. (I am, after all, an Englishman and so have affinity with the Royal Enfield name: I congratulate the Indian personnel who have worked hard to keep the company alive and thriving.) I think I should also add that I am as impressed by the character and enthusiasm of the company's leadership as I am with the beauty of the company's products.
@@safsidhibaat Indian motorcycles in America are awesome, I have an Indian Scout 60 1000cc, and this Bike ROCKS. Indian MC started in 1901/ Harley MC started in 1903 both American made.
This is going to be way cheaper than a Harley, so no comparison there. This is going to be a wonderful motorcycle in the price range of sub 5 lakh Indian rupee. This is going to be a massive hit.
It's so great to see Enfield innovating with bikes that speak to the heart and the soul as someone who rides vintage and classic Norton's as daily riders they really speak to me more so than any other bike. Bikes by riders for riders. I'd love to see a classic 500 with the new 350 tech or even though the himmy 450 is coming, I'd love to see another update to the current 410 longstroke with a 6th gear and about another 10hp an no tech. Keep up the awesome work 👏 an I very much look forward to seeing what Enfield do next it must be an awesome and exciting company to be a part off.
I'm not sure what is more exciting. Seeing RE cover different styles of riding better than anyone else as riders. Or a cruiser I feel I can tour cross country on! I'm betond happy to see a big version of Meteor happening, now you can have on for short range, or long range.
Love the round tail light. Great job royal enfield. I've been riding a kawasaki vulcan 900 classic for 6 years now so I love mid size cruisers. This one looks great!
Guys, you did it AGAIN! Again, you've hit another home run with this bike! I was never a cruiser guy until I got my Meteor 350 back in September of 2021. Here in the US, cruisers are big, heavy (dare I say overweight?), expensive, and unwieldy. They don't handle well; if you lean more than a few degrees, you're dragging parts. What fun is that? Indeed, what fun is it moving a half ton pig around the garage? Until now, no one has built a cruiser like this. What the market has long needed is a sporty cruiser, a cruiser that's as fun to ride on a twisty road as it is on the boulevard. Few have tried to build one over the years, and fewer have gotten it right. The only one that comes to mind is Hyosung's Avatar. The Avatar sported a 650cc v-twin like the one found in Suzuki's SV-650. Unfortunately, Hyosung never gained traction here in the US; the fact that they launched here in 2006-2007 didn't help them, as the financial crisis came in 2008. That said, they had the right idea. Now, you guys at Royal Enfield have built the cruiser many have been waiting for; you've built a sporty cruiser that's fun to ride! Since it's a Royal Enfield, it'll offer a lot of value too; it'll be sold at a price average people can live with. Who on Earth wants to pay $20K or more for a big, overweight bike? Not me! I didn't even consider cruisers until I got my Meteor 350. While I love and enjoy the bike, there have been times I've wanted more power and speed, but I didn't want the typical cruiser. I dare say that I'm not the only rider who feels this way, either; there are many of us who have been turned off to what a cruiser has been. Now that you've all brought out a sporty cruiser based on your sweet, 650 twin, you'll sell every Super Meteor you all can build. THIS is the bike we've been waiting for! Now, if you all would just send some to the US, so I can get one... :)
Marky Mark, are you actually saying there is not mid-sized cruisers in the states? You need to look harder and get out more! There have been 400cc-950cc cruisers around since the 80's! And not they don't drag parts. My 05 Suzuki C50 I got in 05 was my first cruiser and did/does everything you complained about very well. There are many others you are missing.
@@samirranjanmajhi Oh, most definitely there is a sub 800cc market in the US. I would almost say most of the bike sold are below 900cc. Maybe not a huge market for small displacement cruisers, but it's also there. The reason for the larger engine size in the cruisers is simply for power output. Since they can't rev high (500cc@10,000 rpm = 1000cc@5,000rpm. ) they need displacement to make power. The benefit is gobs of torque! Large torque is actually quite addictive! We have a lot of small displacement bikes on the road. Ninja 250 on up...R3 etc etc
I am the Harley guy, but I also love to see what RE was coming up with on the 650-platform. Once I will have an Intercepter, either next or instead of my Ultra Limited, since I am growing older and older and weight start to matter. Wish you all the best of luck for your Meteor 650 Cruiser project. Well done guys and let the good stuff come.
Sid Lal has done a fantastic job at Royal Enfield. I look forward to seeing one and riding one when they get to the states. There is a dealership not too far from me that also sells RE and they are selling very, very well.
It's indeed a bigger brother of Meteor 350 , Royal Enfield really provides us the ride a person really wants .☺️☺️ There's no road RE can't go it crosses the road at ease without whining.😉 Yes I'm a proud RE owner ! .......Keep the legacy alive .❤️
Yes RE, you did a good job. I appreciate you had the rider comfort in mind, low seat, nice handlebar position, and what I like most the forward foot control pegs.
Big thumbs- up to India. They have done something which I imagine is incredibly hard to do which is to break into a market dominated by big names. Many of their doctors also seem to have been in many cases right and sceptical about the enforced response to Covid compared to other countries. Indias sun is rising.
TOTALLY! I've been wanting an affordable, sporty, gorgeous, and fun cruiser like this for a long time; until now, no one has made one. I've liked some cruisers, but I never liked their heavy weight, lack of agility, lack of maneuverability, lack of fun, and high prices. This bike will SHAKE UP the cruiser market! This bike will redefine what a cruiser can and should be...

Yea! Another great machine from RE. Looks like one success following another. Must be a very fulfilling team to work with.
