Here's what the opening to the 2006 DVD release to The Shaggy Dog (Tim Allen remake) would look like if it had more previews
Here's the order:
1. Walt Disney Home Entertainment Logo (2001-2006)
2. Disney FastPlay Logo (2004-present)
3. The Little Mermaid: Special Edition Trailer
4. Meet the Robinsons Trailer
5. Alias: The Complete 5th and Final Season Trailer
6. Home Improvement: The Complete 5th Season Trailer
7. [scrubs]: The Complete 4th Season Trailer
8. Disney DVD Logo (2005-2007)
9. Blue Warning Screen (2003-present)
10. FBI Anti-Piracy Warning Screen (2005-2013)
11. Walt Disney Pictures Logo (1990-2006; The Shaggy Dog variant)
NOTE: Fake/fanmade. This, along with the other August 1, 2006 titles in real life were the first few titles to come out in August 2006, since it was the first day of August that year
NOTE #2: And with that out of the way, if this happened, it makes sense having the trailer to Home Improvement: The Complete 5th Season as one of the opening previews on here, because Tim Allen is in those stuff respectively, so it all makes sense here
NOTE #3: And with that being said, if this happened, it's also appropriate having the trailers to Alias: The Complete 5th and Final Season and [scrubs]: The Complete 4th Season as some of the other opening previews on here, because this movie is rated PG in real life, besides, the 2006 DVD release to The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (which was released a few months prior on April 4, 2006) had the theatrical trailer to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men's Chest as one of the opening previews and the ABC promo to LOST as one of the extra previews on there, and that was okay since that movie is also rated PG like this movie, even the 2006 DVD release of Eight Below (which was released in June 2006 on DVD) had the theatrical trailer to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men's Chest as one of the opening previews on there, that's also alright since that movie is also rated PG like these two movies
NOTE #4: From what I've recently researched about this movie, this was the very first live action movie from Disney to ever use Disney FastPlay, a lot of previous live action movies from Disney released on DVD before this from 2004-2006 didn't have Disney FastPlay, for a majority of 2004/2005 titles, the main reason behind this was due to many of them being THX certified while for some others, it was just their choice or it was too inappropriate to get that rating (like Glory Road or Remember the Titans), but the June 27, 2006 version to this movie would still have Disney FastPlay like the actual release to this movie
And @firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142, if you're watching this, this video is for you, when would the early appearances for the theatrical trailer to Meet the Robinsons run from? If you know, then let me know right here, but if you don't know, then here's my hint: They have to start before May 2006 for sure
This Was The First DVD To Use The August 1st-November 7th, 2006 Version Of The Theatrical Trailer For Meet The Robinsons, Although, There Are Some Early Appearances Of It, Which Will Be Explained Soon
Yes, that's right
Imagine If A Playhouse Disney/Disney Sing Along Songs/Disney Animated Classic DVD Had A Clip From Arachnophobia Being Inserted Into The Middle Of The Program Or Movie
I think it would be bad and can cause controversy since it’s a Horror PG-13 film! Ooooo! (that will be TOOOOO Spooky)
Oh yeah! So it would be very bad then
I Believe John Goodman Plays One Of The Main Characters In The Jungle Book 2
Yes, it’s Baloo
I Wonder Why The Theatrical Trailer For Meet The Robinsons Was The Only Preview On The Actual DVD Release Of This
Yeah, I wonder why
It Could've Made Sense If The Theatrical Trailers For The Santa Clause 3:The Escape Clause And Wild Hogs Were Also On Here
Yeah, I should’ve thought of that when making this video
@spongebobfan2009 Oh Well! But It Still Makes Sense Having The Preview For Home Improvement:The Complete Fifth Season On Here
Yep, since Tim Allen is in this movie
@@spongebobfan2009 And The Theatrical Trailer/Blu-Ray And DVD Preview For The Santa Clause 3:The Escape Clause Will Definitely Be On Sesame Street And Animal Jam:The Animated Series DVD Releases From 2006-2008, But Not The Theatrical Trailer/Blu-Ray And DVD Preview For Wild Hogs
Oh yeah, cuz’ they’re kids shows
The Theatrical Trailer For Meet The Robinsons On The June 27th, 2006 Version Of The Shaggy Dog (Tim-Allen Remake) Would Be Different Than The One On The Actual August 1st, 2006 Release
Oh yes, since that would have the May 23-July 25, 2006 version to that trailer instead
The Occasional Appearances Of The Jungle Book 2:Special Edition Preview Would Be From September 2nd-November 25th, 2008, And The Special Late Appearances Would Be From December 2nd-30th, 2008
Oh yes, and I think we already said that the last occasional appearance for that trailer would be a November 2008 title
@@spongebobfan2009 Oh Yes
And I think I mentioned you that there was a now available trailer to this
@@spongebobfan2009 Yep
And the last regular appearance for this trailer would be a August 26, 2008 title
I'm A Big Fan Of Tim Allen
Yeah, me too
@spongebobfan2009 Tim Allen Is Really Funny
Yep, he sure is
I look forward to the sneak peeks menu for today
That’s coming out today
@@spongebobfan2009 I Look Forward To It Too
Good for you too
@spongebobfan2009 Me too.
This Was The First DVD Release To Use The Second Theatrical Trailer For Meet The Robinsons
Oh yes, that’s right
@@spongebobfan2009 Yeah! Some Of The Dialogue Is Different Than The First Theatrical Trailer
Oh yeah, that’s right
Imagine If The Theatrical Trailer For Apocalypto Were To Be On This DVD Release
That wouldn’t be a big deal since this movie is rated PG
@@spongebobfan2009 Yeah!
And it would have the one that says Summer 2006 at the end of the trailer too
@@spongebobfan2009 Definitely
Yeah, even if the June 27, 2006 version had the trailer to that movie, that would still be the case
Imagine if there was a show called Wilmer Valderrama & Kids
The voice actors will be: Wilmer Valderrama (Handy Manny), Tara Strong (The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea), Cree Summer (Rugrats), Kathryn Beaumont (Alice in Wonderland), Jade-Lianna Peters (Ni-Hao Kai Lan), Caitlin Sanchez (Dora the Explorer), Natalia Wojcik (Little Einsteins), Erica Huang (Little Einsteins), Kath Soucie (Rugrats & Handy Manny), Cathy Cavadini (The Powerpuff Girls), Elizabeth Daily (Rugrats & Quack Pack), Cheryl Chase (Rugrats), Daveigh Chase (Lilo & Stitch), Chloe Grace Mortez (My Friends Tigger & Pooh), Russi Taylor (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) & Tress MacNellie (Rugrats & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)
I'm Not Sure! Let Me Think About Stuff, But It Would Be A Playhouse Disney Show For Sure
@@firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142 Oh yeah! Definitely, especially when he’s in Handy Manny
We know what Previews we will expect to see on DVD Releases of this show, right?
@@kylehanna8001 Yes
Handy Manny previews for one thing
The Scrubs:The Complete Fourth Season Preview Would Also Be On The June 27th, 2006 Version Of This
Oh yeah! That’s one of them
@@spongebobfan2009 Yeah!
@@firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142And it’s okay since this movie is rated PG
@@spongebobfan2009 Yeah
And these kinds of titles are appropriate to use previews like this
Not Every Live-Action Title Since This Would Have Disney's Fast Play
@@firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142 Oh yes, I almost forgot
@@spongebobfan2009 That's Alright
Yeah, especially on PG-13 rated stuff and Touchstone/Miramax/Dimension movies
@@spongebobfan2009 Yeah! There Can Be Some PG Stuff That Don't Have Disney's Fast Play Too
Yes, like the 2008 DVD release of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (for that, it’s a 3-Disc DVD release, that’s why)
I Think John Goodman Is In Coyote Ugly
Oh yeah
@@spongebobfan2009 And We Know What That Means
