This song was written by Omega Sapien and Mudd The Student from Balming Tiger, which explains the hip-hop sound and the clever wordplay. As someone who's a huge fan of both NMIXX and Balming Tiger, I think this song definitely lived up to the hype. NMIXX are really on a hot streak right now 🔥
Jiwoo ate. she finally got her time It's like your typical NMIXX song that stays true to what Kpop is. it has this standard kpop sound. unlike where most kpop songs now are obviously more western? if that make sense but this has the vibe of old kpop.

I think this song warms up to me (rather than cools down) after multiple listens. I didn't immediately dig it on first listen. But I can see how it serves the girls well thematically and for memorability. In the future I'm keen to see more songs produced for choreography from the team (incl SQ4D, etc) bc I know the girls have fast dance ability in them too, as well as vocals!

Sometimes they will leave certain aspects in so that the familiarity of and credit (homage) to the original work is audible but as long as it’s not Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V the same song with the same lyrics then it’s generally viewed as pretty fine. In rap these are often called cyphers.
