劳勿为马来西亚彭亨州最古老的市镇之一，历史最早可追溯到英殖民时期的18世纪。劳勿市主要以旅游业及农业为主，当地特产名种猫山王榴梿（Musang King），当地人也以此维生。
金矿枯竭后，劳勿最主要的经济活动为农业，主要农产品为橡胶（橡胶产业目前开始面临没落）、油棕、热带水果种植（可可豆、香蕉、榴莲等）等，其中就劳勿的榴莲被誉为最好，其中就有名种榴莲猫山王（Musang King），吸引源源不断地中国及新加坡游客前来品尝。
Raub is a town in Raub District, Pahang, Malaysia. Raub is one of the oldest towns in Pahang. Raub became famous in the early 20th century for its mining resource (gold).
After the gold mines were depleted, the main economic activity of Raub is agriculture. Main commodity crops in Raub are natural rubber, oil palm, cocoa and local fruits, like durians. Durians grown in Raub are probably the best in Malaysia. The town is styled as the "durian capital of Malaysia" attracting a steady stream of visitors, especially tourists from Singapore and China.

那个板面是我吃过最好吃的，在KL都找不到，很少有放大头菜，味道很独特，而且是手工大刀切出来，很有嚼劲，老板老板娘都很友善
我只试过两家有大头菜的板面，另一家在Batu Arang
I used to own a 9.3 acre MK orchard in Sg Ruan until I sold my farm to a China company last year. Located a few km from Uncle Thing's farm.
Thank God I got a buyer. These 2 years the weather has been very extreme and the production has dropped 40 - 60%, with lots of disease. We have difficulty of getting pollination during flowering stage with heavy downpour. When we want it to flower, we want to stress the tree but suddenly heavy downpour for a stretch of 2 weeks.
When you eat nice durians, spare a thought for the farmer's hardship. Food in Raub has nothing special. Overall quite poor as compared to small towns in Perak.
i see, the same plights shared by Uncle Thing. Glad you managed to sell it, hopefully with profit 😄. Food wise, i agree Perak has more choices.
@@Nick_catmanyeah more than 10 folds. Now earning interest/dividends without lifting a finger. Raub got nothing better than durians, food wise very poor. Even the groundnuts are nothing to shout about, no better than Menglembu.

@@Nick_catman our kg house got around 10 trees...Durian kg...but for the past 30 yrs...our neighbours eat la..we didnt return to kg anymore...last visit was 8 yrs ago

才知道城区榴莲价钱差不多一样。我去城市puchong 马来区反而比这果园便宜，也是黑刺同样价钱。看来还是华人比较会做生意，这里主打新鲜。感谢分享foodhunt , 剩了我做功课😊

我个人就不喜欢黑刺，基本上，我把黑刺放在不吃/不化算的一边，因为贵，太酒，核大
猫山王分 三种，普通， 老树， 黑金，
黑金 最贵，我是放在跟黑刺的味道很像，太酒，不是很喜欢，可以吃，但不会选它
普通 里面最便宜，不够酒，甜，creamy，浓， 没老树就吃它
老树 中等价， 我的至爱，酒够，甜够，creamy，浓 +起来 100分
哈哈，有时kampung老树，非名种更好吃😄
@@Nick_catman 西马榴莲农 多，所以kampung/不是名种的可以卖到很便宜，划算。但是东马这边，榴莲农不是酱多，所以有的连kampung榴莲都卖到 15-20 /kilo ，所以有一点名的 25， 28， 30，35 都来，再来那些什么叫自己种的老树猫山王，根本吃起来就不像，应该是在博种不到10年，就因为本来那个树是老的树，就叫老树猫山王，味道根本都还没传完，敢敢开价，“老树猫山王” grade B， RM85/kilo， 厉害吗？所以我要吃，宁愿去西马吃我最喜欢吃的种，不想踩累了。
