No one in Korea got plastic surgeries in the 90s, that was mainly for people in Beverly Hills and other rich parts of Western countries. When Korea became richer (like in the 2000's), plastic surgery became en vogue.
Natural will always be better IMO(well it's not completely natural with make up, but make up is like an art so its fine). I feel like it's too much with all these plastic surgeries.
Celebrities did have surgery in the 90's, it was just less common, and less talked about. Even if it was expensive in Korea, Japan was closeby. Japanese idols in the 90's had surgery as well (Morning Musume). Mostly eyelids. It was also easier to hide when people had lower quality videos, and the internet was limited.
Kura Pika k pop first gen were all natural. hyori in this video was consider one of the most beautiful women back in 1998 , but now days so many girls are at hyori level with some surgery.

Lee Jin and Sung Yoo Ri have done a lot of dramas. The most recent one I saw for Sung Yoo Ri was Feast of the Gods. Lee Jin is in a drama called Shining Romance which is still airing. Ok Joo Hyun is performing in musicals. She's in the Korean version of Wicked.
