I agree with you. Perhaps Korean parents (especially mothers) who immigrated to the U.S., an advanced country, in the 1990s, were unable to abandon their private education fever in Korea and caused problems by indigenizing them to the U.S. I apologize on their behalf. ^^;;;
We have this problem also in US, in different forms and ways. It is always under review, change, and controversy.
