Every Wii Cup, 2 people get eliminated. Every Retro, 1 person. I am the host of the room and my goal is to be the last one standing. The subscribers try to knock me out. If they do so, the remaining subscribers win! Every KO tourney will have a different theme :)

@@jamesss8656 automatic is the other option to manual. In manual you drift and hop, handling doesnt matter much in manual, however in automatic handling is a big thing, and drift is less important.
@@BigSealLover I think he meant the CTGP, kart mods, custom tracks etc...

Do u know what the music in dk mountain is?
I can't say which vehicle(s) pair best with automatic drift, but I can tell you from experience that the Wii Wheel pairs well with it. The B button turns into an item trigger, which allows for easier rearview while dragging items behind you. Plus the angle that you turn the wheel is a more obvious difference between turning and drifting, much more obvious than an analog stick. How sharp you turn determines how sharp you turn.
I mained automatic Wii Wheel for the first 9 years of my Mario Kart Wii career. I should know a thing or two.
This was a really fun KO to be a part of, thanks for the fun races! Next time the outcome will be different tho, so says the #megamushroomman!

I know that this is from a long time ago, but playing on automatic, looking for an ideal vehicle you want speed, acceleration and weight. Bikes are obviously better, but since drift is nullified by automatic, the flame runner isn’t as good. If you ever play automatic again, this is something to maybe remember

I played Mario Kart Wii for years and years and have still never played manual. This video is simultaneously speaking to me and making me mad at his inexperience with automatic.

I remember my first playing MKWii and selecting Automatic because I didn't bother reading the description thinking it was Automatic Transmission. It wasn't bad but I was confused and thought they got rid of Mini-Turbo.
Looking back though, I actually think it's cool because you can use the Wheel and the B button to use Items instead of the D pad.

I play on automatic and it’s amazing for me to finally see someone in the world to use automatic (if it was only used once) :D apart from my sister (obviously)
I would propose the argument that karts are actually viable if you’re on automatic. The main reason inside drift is so good is because it’s inside drift, but in automatic all vehicles turn the same. So unless you want the wheelies you might actually be better off with a kart in some places.
There might have been a very good college runner in the room. 46 seconds on 400m is really fast.

TheLeftFooted Sultan lol thanks man. I’ve been using it since I got the game in 2011, and I’ve gotten pretty good at it. I’m absolutely dreadful on manual tho, it’s so weird having drift by hitting B, at least to me anyway

I practice automatic all the time. It can be pretty fun once you get the hang of it! I love mkwii because there is so many different ways to race :)

I Went back at 49:59 and set the playback speed to 0.25 and you very very clearly got first not only by watching your position on the bottom right as u past the finish line and it said first place but the fact that watching the map donkey kongs head was for sure not even over the finish line after you were and you screen said finish, SO in conclusion that was an unfortunate bug that left u in second place but props to u staying calm man.
Keep in mind that MKWii has about half a second of display lag, meaning the DK player was very much ahead of him.

this would be a regular ko tournament for turbo since turbo is so braindead they think the joystick can only move left and right so they cant press down to select manual

You can actually steer diagonally with the remote while wheeling without canceling the wheelie. Could be an effective improvement in these, as you could realign yourself almost each wheelie without losing time, just by shifting the remote in the diagonal position (as in most controllers there are 8 corners to rest the "steerer" at, diagonals work really well with this). Something that I tried to learn a bit better when trying out the automatic lines in Peach Gardens a while back
Something I realized is that the top quarter of the positions get 50% plus 1 of the points
I used to use Automatic when I played back then. I’ve never played Manual
Fun fact: The Flame Runner is called the Bowser bike in the European version
